Topic: H.R. 392, Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act

Press releases dont matter.
Its like just developing front end and forgetting about backend. If backend is consistent with front end then only something will happen.

This is whee you are wrong.
As GCseeker1999 said, none of the desi consultancies or big desi firms have a say at hill.
Its the big giants who have strong lobby. Can you give me an answer that why these companies are not coming out openly arguing on per country fix. They did for daca and other bans.
They dont do that as it wont benefit them on their PR image, gaining sympathy in media.
These giants can easily get a simple fix like per country cap removal passed. But they wont do that.

Topic: Indian Associations in USA not working for Immigration issues

Please dont abuse Microsoft. They are the reason why H1B is alive and healthy. I agree that SIIA, SIRA and LIFE are idiots. They did not allow me to speak during their meetings and never respected what I said despite of all the experience I brought to the table. I hope SIIA members realize it and stop following that mean group

LOL, ROFL... I know you are not the actual Chitti and just an impostor. :D:D

I think you have wasted enough time in trackitt, so the next stop for you is to join Facebook advocacy groups like SIAA, SIRA, LIFE etc to release your frustration. It take couple of years to graduate from there to move on next level.

Spot on !! I am seeing how these SIIA idiots are running like headless chickens and not having a planned strategy. There leader is happy showing framed MS letter, which actually doesnot event counts even a little bit.

also dont give up to other groups demand of increasing GC with this bill. An increase will never happen and it will ultimately derail the things.
Thanks god those idiots have almost no reach in DC or to anyone. But our folks should stop going behind them.

Topic: USCIS H-1B conference

all posts based on a useless story in indian newspaper. Cant u guys get that recently there has not been any big news with tag 'H1B' for indian newspapers to generate clicks. So now they are picking up weeks old stories, adding spice to it and then publishing it to generate fear.
at best have some sanity and donot quote indian papers. their reporters are utterly useless and only know cut/copy/paste.

Topic: H1 Extension - RFE Experiences/Input ?

see my response to babu, my SOC was same 15-1121 which is system analyst. My I-94 was valid so they filed for New H1. Company did respond to the RFE and USCIS said the company was not able to demonstrate why they need a high skilled worker for the positioned they hired me.

I think most probably paperwork was insufficient by your new employer.
Seen cases where employer is unable to respond to RFEs on time, which leads to denial. Did your new employer responded to RFE within time limits?

This is standard template which companies follow. Even for my petition the same was done, although I can say that mine can be easily put for niche skill set.

Tell you what i heard this from quite a few very experienced indian IT guys who recently got GC's and were trying to change job and applied in these companies (indianized body shops full of h1b fakers who dont even know how to write a simple hello world application) that the interviewer himself didnt had any knowledge and was more keen about asking their immigration status and about the details as to how they got GC. You all are just losers.

You statements are contradictory. So according to you I should had jumped over just seeing the GC status and hired that guy. Woww. An that too when he was marketted by a desi consultant at a cheaper rate. Cannot get your logic here. As i told we favored a citizen as he sounded genuine and was able to defend whatever was written in his resume.
And tell your looser friends why they are going for Indian companies when everyone here (and even you) at trackitt thinks they do cheap labor work. They have got GC, now they are free of H1b clutches. So if they are capable, they should aspire for better companies.
Sorry but I cannot change my habit of filtering genuine candidates with fake ones. Whether they are on H1, citizen or on GC. So if that means you have padded your resume with fake exp, dont get hypertension. Some or other company may fall for your fake exp.

Your a piece of shit. The true reason you didnt hired that indian guy is because you are jealous of him/her having GC and your still doing H1b slavery.

Try this on someone else. You have no courage to come out in open and say this, because that will expose u as a fraudster.

I dont deny what you say, but just sharing a discussion i had with a very senior executive from Infy. I asked why Infy doesnot goes into product making? He replied (which frankly speaking I have heard before also), "its better to be number 1-2 in services than number 10-20-30 in product making and make less profit. Companies only are run for it shareholders, not for employees and other people".

I couldnt agree more with him.

Can you point out couple of "non-indian" H1bs in CTS.. I would love to meet one.. I always ask this question and I never get a reply from CTS defenders. Lets see you reply that or not.

Since i work with them i can answer this.
They do hire US citizens. I work with a principal architect who is 8 times MVP. you can find his name easily if you google.

On a different note dynamics have changed recently and they are exclusively going for citizens. eg. We were looking for Salesforce admins recently. I have been included in interview panel as its in my portfolio. There were 3 profiles shortlisted for interview. 2 americans and one desi GC holder. As soon as i looked desi persons profile, I realized its completely fake. I mean its really impossible to have everything you want from a Salesforce admin written in resume, with only 5 years exp. I mean literally everything. In interview he wasnt even able to answer basic things. They finally hired Us citizen who definitely was not perfect but atleast was honest enough to tell that he is just new to things with couple years of exp.
Bottomline CTS hired that guy as he will get support from offshore in case he has any problems.

Calm down !! No one is defending that Cts or not cts are highly skilled. But FTs who work for non tech companies are no less here. I have seen what kind of work they do for years and ages ()not generalizing though.

Anyways, this thread was misleading from start as count includes refiling due to amendments and extensions. Otherwise numbers will come down to less than half of what it is now.

Mr. Captain, numbers are high because for consulting companies multiple amendments, extensions are filed for a single employee. Every one is counted as a petition.
You should blame this on companies who rarely sign long term contracts. Current definition of long term is 6 months. Hope this helps to get you answers.

Don't think that's the case as most of them make more than 60k. Unless someone can help me on the clarity about whether attestation is needed even with salary >60k

Topic: New LCA rules H1bs More Difficult

Where is this 60k clause some posters are claiming... I cannot see in the latest published LCA changes?

I think it should be same as what used to happen earlier. What qualifies an h1b dependent employer to displace someone ? Is it just 60k. If so then whee is that mentioned in old LCA ??

So just to be clear if an employer pays more than 60k then accd to new LCA it doesnot needs to submit the displacement clause even if employer is h1b dependent ?? Can someone plzz clarify ??
