Great news! I’m less than a week behind your receipt date, with my fingerprinting on Dec 15. I know it’s a stretch, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a transfer next week.

It seems cases are first transferred to NBC, then, after a month or two, to your local office. This is exciting news! Congrats! Let us know when you get the paper receipt and for sure where they sent it.

Nov is on the move! Exciting!

Exciting to see movement here on the Oct thread! My dates are similar but a month behind - Nov filer. Hoping for transfer by the end of Jan.

Keep the updates coming!

It seems like a min of 6-8 weeks after fingerprinting before either AP/EAD issued or transfer to NBC. I don’t think we’ve had any Nov movement yet, but October is well on the way. Lots of transfers and APs/EADs.

For me, 6 weeks will be the end of Jan.

Anyone can apply and my understanding is you can pay, doesn’t need to be your employer.

Thanks! I think waiting when the delay is on our end is even more frustrating, so I feel your pain. Hope they get it organized asap.

Kafoureaux, my attorney got the details of the RFE pretty quickly - maybe a day or two - after the online status changed. My employer didn't get the details from USCIS until more than a week later. Hopefully you hear soon.

Finally got my i140 approved so I guess next step is either receive AP/EAD or i485 transfer to NBC.

Do we have any Nov filers with EAD/AP yet? Any transfers yet? It looks like Oct has several of both already.

Fingers crossed!

Topic: I140 case approved then back to case was received

It looks like there was a system glitch on Dec 7th that sent a ton of folks a message that their case was received on Dec 7th. In my case, my 1-140 PP was received in Nov and an RFE issued, then I got the status update on Dec 7th that my case had been received. Since then, it has changed to they have received my response to RFE. I think because yours was already approved, and there won't be any further status updates, it's likely stuck on the glitch status. I wouldn't worry about it. Especially if you/your attorney already received the hard copy of the approval notice.

Yes. As en example, my response to my RFE was received by USCIS on Dec 19th. So for my i-140 PP, I expect to hear something by about Jan 5th (including holidays).

My case was received Nov 13 at Texas. I had my fingerprinting this past Friday. I'm not sure what logic they use in processing cases, but at least there is some movement.

Had my fingerprinting appointment today. There was not a single other person there. Took less than 3 mins from getting out of my car to getting back in.

So sorry to hear you’re still waiting! At least with Jan, the new disclosure data will come out and you can check again for denials. Are you close to H1B max out? So sorry to hear of your situation. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

So strange... Just got notification from USCIS that my i140 was received today, Dec 7th. However, I had a receipt notice that it was received in Nov and Infact, my employer is currently in the process of responding to an RFE. So confused.

In theory, Premium should have nothing to do with RFEs. No idea if that’s actually the case. Personally, the peice of mind with premium is worth every penny.

Re my RFE:
I’m not in IT, company is US only, 15+ years in operation, multiple states, nonprofit. I don’t think my RFE has anything to do with the company. Pretty sure my attorney just didn’t include all the required docs.
