Topic: EB1C - Nebraska Service Center

hi everyone,

i just received a notification today that my card (green card) is being produced and sent to me...

here's a history of my case, hope this helps people who are still waiting and gives some encouragement:

- EB1C filed concurrently on July 5th 2016
- August 2016 (can't remember exact dates) received EADs (my and my family)
- beginning of september 2016 gave biometrics
- August 14 2017: I-140 was approved
- September 4th 2017 received RFE to repeat the medicals
- september 20th 2017: medicals were received by USCIS
- October 23: received the following notification "On October 23, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number LIN169xxxxxxx (which is my I-485), and will mail it to the address you gave us".

note that in between those dates my lawyer had sent a couple of RSs just checking where the processing is, and the response was that the case is now with an officer and we should be receiving something soon. but it doesn't seem that these RSs had caused any delays though.

please let me know if you have any questions.

good luck for those waiting, and thanks a lot for this great forum.

They should take an exception and extend the period to 24 months, else all concurrent filer with EB1C will have to for Medical again, Delaying the processing.

is this something that usually happens? or do i have to ask my lawyer to file for this exception? or are you just saying what you think should logically happen? :)

thanks

thanks :)

i am certain i will get an RFE to redo my medical exams now. that's one disadvantage of filing concurrently is that you do the medicals at the very start, then when 12 months pass, you need to repeat them.

hi guys,

i'm new to this forum and really appreciate all the cooperation i see here, and all the information i'm getting.

i wanted to ask, does the country of nationality make any difference in the speed of processing of I-140 (EB1C). in other words, does your nationality determine a certain queue you get in?

thanks

hi,

i'm on the exact same case as you, EB1C, L1A, RD July 4 2016.
how are you tracking the I-140? i can't find a way to track it, on MyUSCIS i am only able to track the i-485 related forms, but not the i-140.

thanks
