Topic: profile evaluation for EB-1B pp NSC

you dont need a PhD. They hardly look at your education qualification but your contribution to the field that you are applying. can you highlight that your work (not academic citations) is being used by others ? That is what they will look for? Being in industry hardly gets you academic citations, real world application of your work carries significantly more weight than academic citations and/or a PhD.

you have excellent chance, Best Wishes

Topic: Validation error in case tracking

When I check my online status for case, I get validation error. It’s been over 4 weeks since I submitted my application and over 3 weeks since I recieved my receipt number in mail. What should i do no, how long will it take for case status to show in website when one has the issue of validation error? Is it common to see validation error?

Topic: How long to get reciept notice

Once i-485 EAD/AP/AOS has been filed, how long does it take to receive (1) Receipt notice by mail and (2) Appointment notice for Bio metrics. How would one receive bio-metrics appointment notice, is it by mail as well? Help appreciated.

Topic: EB1B RFE: how best to reply

"Note that law firm decided to file with bare minimum reference letters (2 from employer on what I work on/impact of my work to corporation and one from academia who talked about pioneering nature of my work). I had suggested including more letters on my PhD work at the time we filed but law firm thought they would be redundant (they thought 3 was sufficient based on adjudication trend they were seeing) "

The above advice on going with 3 reference letter that too with employer letter is terrible. I'm in a similar boat dealing with corporate law firm. I would recommend you to be more demanding and also set expectations. It is more important to get letters from outside of your employer. May I also suggest hire a separate attorney/law firm on your own may be a reputable boutique firm that specializes EB green cards and review everything that the corporate law firm sends with them and also seek appropriate guidance. Its well worth the money and time.

Best wishes on your case

Thank you for being objective and more importantly courteous, which is lacking in some of the responses here.

Topic: EB1B chances with premium

You have a decent chance of getting Eb1B. i know many people who have recieved Eb1B in statistical modeling. Best wishes. Also, citations are irrelevant as long as your work is original research. You can still claim the award category since its international in nature and open to anyone. Best wishes

Can you elaborate in international award? What was the criteria for the award? What is the eligibility for the award (e.g. Stud t only or open to anyone)?

Topic: Eb1 masters without Ph.D

Thank you for your question: Eb1B my employer is filing, eb1a I'm filing.

I guess Eb1A gives me much for flexibility in terms of job mobility.

Topic: Eb1 masters without Ph.D

trackitt: thank you. Yes my research involves is exclusively real world application and novel (not bragging here), and it takes time in my filed to get citations. Also, the research has been adopted by national and international community. Any way I did get opinion from an attorney who is reluctant to take eb1 cases said that my profile qualifies both for eb1-a and eb1-b. With likelihood of approval in both eb1-a and eb1-b higher. Two independent lawyers one big firm and another boutique lawyer firm have said that I have good chance. So I'm going to do both a and b. Will report back if I get good news.

Question: Can you please let me know if there are any disadvantages for applying in premium processing? Thanks again

Topic: Eb1 masters without Ph.D

Hello, below is profile

I have masters degree from US, below is my profile

National and international awards: 2, 1 award given to top 5% second award top 1% in my profession
Journal Papers: 3 + (3 pending)
Conference Papers: 12
Total citation: 65
Editorial Board Member of a journal
Manuscript Review: 5
Press Coverge: 2, this is in the association publication in my area of work not newspaper, out of which 1 talks about my work
Research Experience:12 years
Lead or play a critical role in my current work
Salary ~220k

My question would the above profile suit EB1A or Eb1B, lawyers advices Eb1B because it only needs to meet 2 criteria.

What should I do to improve chances of getting EB1?

My concern is that almost all of them that I seen have Ph.D, would that hinder my chances at Eb1B, I would welcome any opinion feedback on my profile.

I have never seen salary and leading role discussed in this forum, what are the chances of successfully using these 2 criteria for Eb1A?

Thanks
