Topic: USCIS:Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It

To my knowledge, USCIS should share adjudication for premium processing in 15 calendar days. I am still stuck in the same status and no updates with attorneys too. Any one got approval recently from vermont after rfe is responded? I dont see any new updates specific to vermont for extensions on the tracker

Thanks all for ur encouraging gestures.. for right of control, provided end client letter and Right of control letter from employer. For speciality occupation, attorneys have taken care of it i hope. They had told they will get something like an expert opinion letter showing the complexity and technical nature of the job and relating it with my academic and professional experience. Will keep all posted on my progress.

My H1B Extension timelines are as mentioned below.

Extension(based on I140) filed : 29th Aug 2017
Upgraded to premium processing: 6th Oct 2017
Got RFE for Specialty occupation and Right of control : 17th Oct 2017
RFE Responded by employer and status updated in USCIS to - your Response to USCIS' RFE is received - 26th Dec 2017
And finally, the USCIS case status changed to "Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It" - 8th Jan 2018.

If anyone went through the same case status ( Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It) , please advise on its meaning and how your case proceeded further, with timelines.

Topic: H1B 6 years expiring soon, I140 not filed

Can you please give further insights on the rationale behind preserving 30 days? My employer/attorney also mentioned this as I am sailing the same boat but didn't get further info on "why" it needs to be done. According to my understanding, Once we are out of the country, the H1B Max-out clock stops ticking and we will be applying for H1B extension only once I140 is approved. We will be back in US only once H1B is extended for 3 years(ideally and can vary based on factors like LCA expiry) based on I140. Didn't find a lot of information related to this topic on the web and any help to clarify my understanding is really appreciated.

Joining the group prayers here:).

I had a seperate question and please direct me to the right discussion forum if it derails this groups purpose.

My H1B is maxing out as of june16 2017( this is including recapture days as I recaptured all possible days along with my last extension). I am sure I will need to be out of US for quite some time as I need to get past the hurdles of Labor approval, I140 filing and approval( hopefully my employer does premium processing) and then finally H1B extension for which there is no premium processing now.

My Employers attorney wants me to go out of the country atleast a month before max out stating that they would need to preserve atleast that time on my current H1B to be able to extend it for 3 years once my I140 is approved. According to them this is the safe bet as otherwise I might need to fall under fresh H1B cap even after I140 approval.

If any of you are sailing the same boat ( dont wish you to ) or gone through this scenario, please share your thoughts/advise.

Topic: Prevailing Wage Processing Time

Not sure if this is asked before. Is there a trend were PWD processing time increases towards november and december due to vaccations? PWD requested on July 28 and expecting response by november first week at current pace, but looking at other factors that I need to potentially factor in.
