I have booked the tickets to visit India and booked dates for visa interview in HYD, the day tickets are booked it started bothering me I. I doing right thing going for vacation in present situation . My travel is in Jan 3rd week.

My case was upgraded to PP on 31st MAR and receipt received on 04 APRIL, today status shows as RFE (Request for Additional Evidence issued), not sure what is requested.
Seems CSC is issuing the RFE for most of the PP cases.

Hello
I just contacted my case manager via email to remind them on filing my I-140 as nearing to last date (i.e APRIL 12)
I got response from case manager stating all APRIL due I-140 cases been filled with USCIS on 19th March, then i asked i don't see any any entries in MY VISA or didn't get any notification then case manager replied stating that i'm confirming by looking at my visa from her end and finally case manager said not everything is visible to associate and i'm confirming by looking at my visa portal.
Dose anyone had a similar kind of experience? If yes then what's the process to get receipt notice or number? |

My H1 Extension submitted to USCIS on : SEP 22 2016
Case moved to CSC FROM VSC on : MARCH 03 2017
My Case is upgraded to premium on : MARCH 30 2017
Yesterday evening (03/30) case status shows as stating "We have received your premium processing request on 03/302017...."
when i check the status again today (now) it shows as below, it doesn't say premium any where. Not sure what's going on.

Hello
My H1B extension applied on SEP 22 2016 and still waiting on approval. Also my case was transferred from VSC to CSC on MARCH 3rd. From APRIL 3rd USCIS is not going to accept premium filing hence I got approval from Sr Director and it's been week now I got that but GM didn't upgrade my case to premium. When ever I contact GM I was told that sir don't worry, CTS is going to upgrade ur case before cut off but still it's bothering me.
Is any one in similar situation and any updates on ur cases. |

EB2 Eligibility Check:
CTS is filing GC for me under EB3 category but the qualification I got should be eligible for EB2, did any one with similiar case and processed under EB2 with CTS. Below are the details.
In few forums I read as mentioned below:
If your BS and MS are in the same field and are related to your work, EB-2 should work.
Generally speaking, if BS and MS are in the same or similar fields, you should be able to combine them to arrive at a 4-year degree for EB2 purposes. You should have a shot at EB2
Education : B.Sc (C.S) 3 years degree from INDIA
M.Sc (CS) 2 years degree from INDIA
Experience: 9 + years of IT Experience.
Below is the response I got from my CASE manager,
The following are the requirements for Eb-2:
• A U.S. Bachelor's degree or a single foreign degree equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s (“BS”) (this means a 4 year Foreign Bachelor Degree, not a 3 yr. Bachelor’s Degree nor 3 yr. Bachelor’s Degree plus a 2 yr. Master’s degree nor multiple Master’s/Post Graduate Degrees) plus at least 5 years of progressive experience outside of Cognizant US in a related field after earning the degree.
• A U.S. Master's degree or a single foreign degree equivalent to a U.S. Master’s (“MS”) plus one year of work experience outside of Cognizant US in a related field after earning the degree; or
You have a three (3) year Bachelor’s degree and a two (2) year Indian Master’s degree. Your Indian Master’s degree is not equivalent to a US Master’s degree for PERM purposes under the current education equivalency rules in place. We have an external education evaluation vendor that processes US education equivalencies on our behalf, and they have confirmed you do not have a US Master’s equivalency.
Cognizant will not combine two degrees (3 plus 2) to meet the four (4) year Bachelor’s provision. In the past, when we filed for Eb-2 using combination degrees (3 plus 2), such as yours, this has resulted in each and every case being denied by USCIS. Therefore, our senior in-house counsel has implemented a policy to not use combination degrees (3 plus 2) for Eb-2 PERM purposes. Under Cognizant’s GC policy, Global Mobility (GM) seeks to file applications/ petitions that are legally viable and likely to result in approvals from the U.S. Department of Labor (“DOL”) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”).
Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to the education requirements for PERM regardless of designation held or salary.
Therefore, your PERM case is assessed for Eb-3 consideration.
