My wife's NIW I 140 based H4-EAD application went to California. The online status shows "On September 26, 2017, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number WACXXXXXX .........". I'll keep this group posted on the development. Good luck to all of us!

Topic: EB2-NIW Nebraska (any receipt date)

Thank you for the note and sorry for any confusion. I did have a lawyer first but had to come out of that bad relation at the cost of $2500 as that **** was making me do everything anyways. I had prepared all reco letters myself, he had almost no edits. So decided not to move forward and save on the second installment. It worked out well. It will not be appropriate to share his name on this forum, but as I mentioned in one of my posts, I strongly recommend self-petition, especially if you have a few experienced friends who can share tips/feedback and the documents they used in their approved application.

I did not post to hurt/harm anyone or to brag about my approval; I felt that I owed to this forum as I got helpful info from here. Considering the "discrepancy" You have every right and reason to make this allegation/raise this question; although I must say it did hurt my ego for a few seconds but then realized about your point of view.

Congratulations! How did you first learn about the approval? Did the online status change? Did you receive an email from USCIS?

Got the receipt in the mail today. Oct 24 is the receipt date in there. Evidently, the date in the USCIS generated email is correct over the date on their website.

Got another email today stating that my Application was received by NSC on Oct 24. Now the USCIS website states that the case was received on Nov 1st. I think Oct 24 is the correct date and the other dates represent when the system generates the email. I'll let you all know the actual date when I receive the notice in mail.

My EB1A I140 PP app was sent to TSC as I live/work in MD (TSC jurisdiction). yesterday I received an email from USCIS stating that my Application was received by NSC on Oct 24 (it got transferred to NSC probably bcz NSC approved my NIW a couple of months back). However, the USCIS website states that the case was received on Oct 31st. Any thoughts on which date to trust, 24 or 31? I have not received the notice in mail yet.

Topic: Premium , no decision yet on my case

My EB1A I-140 Premium Processing package has been delivered to the USCIS Texas Service Center on Oct 18, 2017 (as per USPS tracking); however USCIS has neither deposited the checks not has sent the receipt. I wonder if this is a common phenomenon these days? Is anyone else in a similar situation?

Topic: I-140 Regular processing time - Texas service center

May I request the community on this forum for their opinion on the following: I sent my EB1A PP I-140 application to TSC last week and it was delivered on Oct 18, 2017. However, I still have not received the USCIS receipt. Also, the checks have not been deposited by the USCIS. Does it usually take this long? I'm resident of Maryland (so I fall in TSC jurisdiction) and my EB2-NIW was approved by the NSC last month. Could it be possible that the USCIS is transferring my case to NSC since my NIW was handled by NSC? Could the delay in check deposition be due to transfer of my EB1A application to NSC even though I sent it to TSC?

Topic: Eb1a I140- Regular Processing Wait time - Nebraska

Yes, I did apply for my NIW in the last week of Oct 2016. I hope they don't change their current practice (of sending MD cases to TSC) by the time I submit my EB1A app :-) Thank you for your response. Much appreciated!

Topic: Eb1a I140- Regular Processing Wait time - Nebraska

Thank you for the response. The reason I asked is because my EB-2 NIW application went there even though I (and my employer) was in Maryland (and my lawyer was in TX) and yet it ended up at NSC. So was curious if there were any EB1A cases on this forum or that the members know that were supposed to go to TSC but yet ended up at the NSC.

I work and live in Maryland and my attorney, who will send my PP EB1A Application next month, lives in Houston, TX. What do you think are the chances for my application ending up at NSC? I'd really appreciate your opinion on this.
