Topic: Aging out Kids - Forum for discussion

Looks like this forum is created on good intentions. This should be used to post if you have history how you handled aged out kids cases or your plans, so others can be benefited. EB1C or DACA has nothing to do with it. This forum is for people who are thinking realistic scenario and try to be proactive in case the kid really ages out which is a possibility these days.

Keep posting experiences and lets help each other.

Topic: Still don't get it - Spillover discussion

all the SO drama and speculations.. Think about it guys.. If there is true spill over.. why would we worry about removing the per country cap? all the unused ones would come to India EB2/3 anyways. Its probably not as simple as we think it is. Am I making sense?

Topic: May 2017 - Visa Bulletin Prediction

Have anyone read the explanation for May visa bulletin on Murthy. Its completely silent about India EB2/EB3. It is explaining about China and others. Something brewing that we don't know about??

Topic: Obama EO: EAD for approved I 140

I 140 portability per me is the same as date of acceptance. This is the easiest approach and that's what USCIS took. The 140 portability as it is is very complex and new. We all are anxious to see the I140 EAD rule. But I have a vibe that, it may not include portability. Lets wait and watch.

Topic: Obama EO: EAD for approved I 140

Looks like the tempo of this thread is completely gone. What happened people. My condition is even worse than most of you. My PERM is still stuck with USCIS for past few years. But I am trying to be hopeful and see the I140 EAD rule gets past finish line sometime soon. HR 213 is a long shot, but I140 EAD seems very achievable as it has the Obama EO tag with it.

What a waste of energy in past few days.. we all added at least 20 pages to this thread and all of that is for nothing and when someone has a question we make fun of it..

Topic: What's Up with Texas service center??

I have applied to Texas service center. can anyone tell me why the Texas service center is taking a lot of time. the applications are pending sicne February 07 whereas the vermont center has approved the late march cases. Has Texas center stopped processing OPT for the time being.

I applied on March 26th.. but my classmates who applied in Feb , they have not received. is it a rule that after they get their applications approved. I will take exactly the same number of days to get my EAD card.
