Just wanted to update you my status. I just got the magic email today. I am greened now, still waiting for physical papers and cards. I would like to thank everyone on trackitt who directly or indirectly help me in my green card journey. It really helped me a lot to learn about the process.

I just noticed that Texas Service center has updated their processing time based on March29. They are processing case from Dec3,2015. I am wondering why i have not heard back anything when my case was of Nov4,15. Do you think i can raise SR from Attorney or company or do i have to wait for 30 more days? | | | |

Hello Sogs,
Thank you for your advice. I am waiting this month to see if there will be any change. My HR call to USCIS ,has mentioned that we cannot raise SR this time and i am assuming this might be because there are few days left for my case to complete 6 months (4days). In another 15 days i would request to Open SR and if i dont hear back from USCIS , then will request my Employer to do Prem Processing. | | | |

Hi there,
You should be receiving your EAD soon , another 15-20 days or early than that as mine took almost 3 month.
For my I-140, I have not heard back anything , my HR called to USCIS and they said they are working on case from Oct21,15 as published on TSC processing time sheet. They also mentioned that no SR at this time , will wait for another month to see if there is any changes. My case has been pending in TSC for more than 6 month and wait continues.. I will see next month if i can request for I-140 premium.. | | | |

Topic: Travelling with Advance Parole to Iran, I485 pending
Just wanted to share my experience with EAD/AP so that this helps people like me who was scared before going out of the country in AP. I traveled outside of USA recently and came back yesterday through Detroit,Tx port of entry. In US port of entry, they asked for my passport/AP card, reviewed it and sent me to the secondary inspection room. I could see many people waiting in this room and also police officers ,They will check all the history from the past and verify the AP status etc. I was waiting in that room for around 20 min-30 min after which one of the officer called my name and gave me my passport and AP document from the window. That's it. They stamped my passport and i entered USA in AP and put the expiry date as in AP.
Do not scare , and be ready to go wherever your heart says. Just make sure that you were not out of status and illegally stayed or have criminal record while staying in USA. | | | |
