Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

Thanks for this, suppose I go to India and while I come back the amendment is still in processing stage then can I enter US ?

I have the original I797 from NY which was approved and which has the approval status. Based on this, my stamping is based on this earlier stamping and valid till DEC 2017.

Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

No, I moved from NY to CA and so amendment is required.

I filed this amendment on 27th July 2015 for change of location.

Status is not approved as yet. I want to know if I can travel to India now as it does not look that it will be approved in the next 10 days. More importantly , can I enter again US from CA ( as this location's amendment is in process) ?

Thanks,

Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

I have applied for a change of location from NY to CA on 27th July 2015. I entered US in NY with an employer and have their stamping till December 2017. I still with the same employer in a different location. My amendment is not approved as yet. Can I travel to India now ?

Situation:
What happens when I come back from India and my application is still not approved ? Can I enter CA?

What happens if when I am in India and my application gets approved while I am in India ? Do I need a stamping again ?

Does it create complications and can I travel to India ?

Thanks,
