Topic: EB1C - Texas service center

P.S. Just noticed across different forms for various service centers & field offices.

All the 'Case Enquiry Date' is automatically incremented by '1 day' every calendar day.
Not good. Another mockery of a programming may be, without any scientific or logical progress captured in that processing time new page.

Feel sad after I observed this ...

if you read the detailed terms & condition of processing time - there is definitely some ambiguous statements.

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-time...
Read above.

I140 is not part of the pilot program with new processing times.
for I140 processing time is something like 130% of the base processing time.
So July 22 may not be accurate for I140.
Also, this case enquiry date is auto updated every calendar day with +1. Looks like some defect or bug.
Just my observation.
Lots of April & May people waiting.

create SR after 60 days. Should be done after 10 days from SR.
this is what I have read & known.

Unfortunately No. This is a standard email sent to everyone every 2 weeks.

180 days in advance anyone can initiate EAD. It is free for C9 cases.

EADs are taking more than 90 days and USCIS don't give any accurate processing times in any thing in recent past.

my friend did the same complaining when his L1A based EB1C took 8 months to get approval.

L1A can find day of the light within the normal processing time of 9 months (quoted today in new processing timelines page uscis).

But H1Bs take north of 1 year easily and have seen my friends go through 20+ months without any clue. Eventually most if not all got it after 15 or 16 years in USA through EB1C. EB1C is new EB2 if anyone on H1B.

these are just my observations in the last 5 to 6 years through my friends. Not scientific enough though.

heard from few of my friends.
Rule of thumb for faster EB1C 140 approval.

Be on L1A, Don't file concurrent and you can expect I140 clearance in less than 6 months.

Thanks for your inputs.

New question, if 140 is pending - if 485 processing date is newer than our 485 filed date, can we raise SR for 485?

TIA

confirmed with a friend. SR filed for pending RFER after 4 months to USCIS. Got approval after few weeks from the SR date.

are you sure it is not 8 to 12 weeks instead of months?

no way RFER will take months to get response back from Uscis.

this is my experience from several discussion with my friends working in Cognizant and other companies.

Topic: USA Not a Nation of Immigrants

I don't get this. All obama did was H4EAD, it is more restrictive and negligible in grand scheme of things.

Republicans have done more (2007 July mistake) for immigration than Democrats in the recent past.

Back to the Op's thread title - Most Desi people who got greened 2 weeks ago think like visa holders are taking over their jobs from their 'Native' status and we blame the folks whose great grandparents are born here..

People from April / May are still waiting, but there are approvals for September/ October cases.
This is just ridiculous and slap on people's faces tbh.
