Hello All,

Did anyone contact their respective State Senators to take an appointment to discuss HR.392 and S.281 bill. Kindly update the posts if you receive any invitation to set up appointment.

Hi KV,

Thanks for the detailed information.I started another Thread s.281. I hope everyone starts forming small groups and contact their state Reps and Senators in order to bring awareness to them on HR 392 and S.281.

Me and my few friends discuss the amount of time people put in writing big discussions on different threads here, instead just contact your state reps take an appointment and present your case.

As we all know that HR.392 has got majority for House voting. Its just matter of time that it can come to house for it to get passed.

Once this is passed it will go to Senate under Bill S.281 for voting.

Considering this, I have taken a initiation to meet California Senator Dianne Feinstein in San Francisco to ask her support for S.281. Me and 3 other friends of mine who has their i 140 approved are already communicating Senator Dianne Feinstein's office to meet her and get exact date to present our case in regards to the backlog issue and the problems that we have for getting green card.

I urge you my friends to meet your state Senators from which ever state you belong and make them aware of the situation. Initially i was not aware of HR.392 and S.281 bill. I received a forwarded message on whatsapp regarding this 2 bills which made me aware that there are people working on behalf of us in house and senate. Based on this I thought of trying to contact my state senator. I emailed her on through her website, at first i thought no one will reply but once i got reply from the Senators office things started moving.

Below is the link to find the senators from your state. Find the senator based on the your address or state, they have their own website where you can contact them (firstly via email). Their office will get back to you to schedule an appointment.

If we come together and work on this, there will be a chance to make the State Senators aware of our situation and we can surely change things for our own good. I am requesting you all to please think about this and take into consideration.I am doing my part and giving shot to it.

Thanks
S
