Topic: Canada Ground Realities

To bring this post back on track. I am a Canada and Australia PR, also a US grad and do not work in IT. With a PD of 2011, should I wait for the GC or should I just move to Australia where I have an offer for a equivalent remuneration, with slightly better benefits?

Why the desperation? Just move your talents to Canada, Australia or the EU!

Topic: EB 2 India Priority Date - Decade Wait?

But again, nothing could happen, EB2 could stagnate forever! What happens to those of us that have patiently waited for 6-7 years. Uncertain times for sure :(

Life is not fair, because we play by the rules, while these thugs game the system, and get ahead with their minimal skills!

Wonder what happened to a US educated STEM queue, for grads from decent universities. How did powerpoint pros with Rapidex English backed skills circumvent grads from here?

Second that. If you need an H4EAD to work for you, you obviously don't make enough with your H1B and have no business choking the EB2 line!

I don't forsee even 2010 becoming current till 2020! For those of us with other PR's now is the time to leave, get the foreign citizenship, and then come back armed with either a TN or E3 in 3-4 years. In the best case, 2010-2011 dates will be current by then. There is absolutely no hope for people with 2013 PDs and after. I would suggest trying to procure a Canadian or Australian PR. I know we knew our odds at getting GC's but we didn't factor the EB1C scumbag factor into our GC timeframe calcs.

I understand your pain. Some of us have been here since the early 2000s, have graduated in non IT fields from decent universities here, worked for ethical companies, and continue to wait. I think it is time to take our talent to Canada, the EU or Australia, and come back at a later time. It really is not worth the stress, if you can find comparable employment elsewhere.

And to think, years away from the desi motherland, armed with an American education should make a difference.

I agree with you. Physicians are human too, trying to make money by ethical means is not wrong though.

It pays well, but it takes a lot of effort too, and at the end of the day you are pitted against semi skilled people from WITCH companies in the EB2 line. Like he said not everyone is fortunate enough to have their hospital file an EB1.

I don't agree with this socialist nonsense. Everyone has the right to make money the ethical way! It is only losers and unsuccessful people who throw unsolicited socialist advice. And your written English is deplorable. Now that you have a GC, get a Rosetta Stone program, or because you like the Indian economy so much, you should get a Rapidex English course book. Also your language is too crude for use on a public forum.

Topic: H1b AC21 Cancellation: Trump's Nuclear option

I have a Canadian as well as an Australian PR , and I absolutely love my job, my coworkers, and the company I work for. I have nothing against IT folks, but crooked companies that abuse EB1C are going to force me to leave the life I am comfortable with , and move to another country. It is just not possible to resettle in India after 17 plus years here!

Assumptions again!! Not everyone works in IT. Some of us have degrees from decent universities here, have assimilated here, but still have no EADs or GCs. But then again, we can take our skillsets and re-establish ourselves in Canada or the EU or in Australia no thanks to the shyster desi IT garbage companies and the trash they recruit!

I am guessing this works for an E3 for Australian PRs as well ; of course for those that have a 140 filed but no 485 due to unavailability of EB2 I visas

Topic: New H1B - GC rule

Realistically as an EB2 -2011 with a US education and experience, it isn't going to be too hard to find a comparable job in Canada or Australia. I think that is the focus now ; possibly return using TN or E3.
