Topic: Goodlatte bill coming today - Any details ?

How is it perfectly reasonable ?
How much in absolute numbers does this change increase for India and China ?
Your wait time might come down from 80 years to 70 years.
Also, there is no mention about lifting country limits.

Man... Can you please stop doing a critic job.
What do you base your opinions on ? You go to every US citizen and get confirmation.
What "serious polls" are you talking about. Links/proofs ?
Did you ever read the comments posted by Americans when "H4 EAD" or "140 EAD" rules were posted ?
Try to find from the archives if they still exist somewhere.

Learn to be courteous to the people who are trying to do something.
All the best...

(Not my petition and I didn't write it. Just trying to be helpful and hoping to get help)

Hope you are not sleeping all this time.

Just check the number of articles based on "stopping h1b program"

People dont need to write what you mean to understand. They will write what they want to.
It is up to you to take it in a positive or negative stride.
(I haven't written the petition though.)

saying "We are ok with not increasing the quota" doesn't actually translate to "We are against h1b program"

Dude, dont derive any assumptions from that.
It means that we don't need increase in h1b quota but handle this already screwed GC.
The petition never said anything about stopping h1b program.
(If you are not following much, there was an uproar in US asking not to increase h1b quota)
So, this is like saying, we agree with you but fix this.

Against H1s ? Where did I mention that ?
The petition is about Highly skilled labor. I am not against anybody becoming permanent residents.
That petition is talking about primary applicant himself/herself waiting for 20 years to get GC.
There are lots of restrictions with respect to career growth because of this delay.
