Topic: H.R. 392, Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Act

I see so many so called skilled immigrants on twitter which we know most came through these shady outsources and graduated from 10s of thousands of visa mil engineering schools spread all over India. They label themselves as Nationalist, Modi supporters, bash illegals non-stop as if they are somehow superior to those illegals. And 65% of Hindu voted for Trump, and most Indian origins and these so called skilled included keep bashing democrats.

So my question is, why should democrats do anything for nationalist/Modi supporting/Trump loving and illegal bashing foreigners?

Topic: Why IV so eager that H1Bs pay $1K to DACA illegals in HR 392?

I will do it. Only issues with IV offer I have is that its too low. I think they should have proposed 10k per member to entice congress into negotiation

stupidity of likes of you is beyond imaginations. Does Indian government pay the tuition and other expenses that one spend while getting education in US? Does every Indian citizen is slave of the state and de-facto owned for government?

ZERO percent chance chain migration get touched. Chances of DACA passing are close to zero. Dem cant risk 10s of million future voters with current immigration with 800k DACA members.

why would Democrat agree to end family based immigration? its their base dude, there will never ever agree too this and for a good reason.

Both parties don't agree on immigration, that's the whole thing, GOP even moderate one seems to be in favor of dramatically reducing immigration into country to preserve their all-white native base share of population.

Dem will bite no-DACA for preserving overall immigration to country. I have followed these debates since 2006, nothing ever happens here.

9 Dem senators? give me their name please, I can count every Dem senator on my finger tips, not even 2 DEM senators for ending family based and diversity visa immigration. Perhaps you did not follow tax debate, all the red state democrats who are up for re-election in 2018 did not vote for bill despite bills popularity in their respective states

you guys are political amateurs. Do you know what "chain migration+ diversity visa" is? GOP wants to bring down net migration by 90% to close to 150k a year versus 1.1 million currently.

Why would democrat ever agree to that? Most new migrant are non-white and core part of democrats base vs all white native electorate of GOP.

There is 0% chance that chain migration and diversity visa will be touched. Even if diversity visa is touched democrats definitely will ask for offset in other visa category and GOP will resist.

I looked at 106(a), its basically only deals with three situation: pending labor/I 140 or I 1485 cases. So if your I 140 is approved and I 1485 was not filed you are not covered.

I know where this is coming from, its from Emily Neuman. I mean she is lawyer and cant even read statues, terrible

No point bashing IV as I see people doing on this forum, they are doing what they can do and they certainly have sense of whats happening.

Only issue is their communication with their members which is always confrontational may be partly in response to how people keep questioning them

you are right it was done by congress in 2000 but here is what congress did. As usual they threw the ball in executive branch court

(c) ONE-TIME PROTECTION UNDER PER COUNTRY CEILING- Notwithstanding section 214(g)(4) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1184(g)(4)), any alien who--

Topic: H4 EAD Revocation rule

what I am not sure is what happens after Feb18 when the officially publish it for comments or whether it comes into effect immediately. As I understand they will first publish in Feb18 and then comments, and then comment reviews and then final rule publication so whole process takes 7-8 months but what I am not sure is whether they will stop accepting application in the meantime or not
