Topic: EB3 India Question

Assume nothing. eb3 India 2007 July/August will get cleared this year.Than they might move the filing dates to January 2008 or later. That will give a good idea about the inventory build up.

Topic: H1B Advice needed

If someone has an H1b (filed by one company and the H1b is valid for 1.5 years) and quits job and transfers to H4 (H1B dependent ), would it be possible to transfer back to H1b and start working again (for another company) at a later date?

Topic: Moving home country after GC

Corrections

1) 0 to < 6 months stay out of the country, should not be a problem.
2) 6 months to 1 year stay .You will be taken for secondary inspection . Please apply for rentry permit as to display your intent to come back. They can question your intent to make USA as your home.
3) > 1 year .Please apply for rentry permit as to display your intent to come back .Without rentry permit, they will revoke your GC

Hope this helps

As a GC holder, you need to maintain permanent residence in USA.However,

1) 0 to < 6 months stay out of the country, should not be a problem.
2) 6 to 1 year stay ,will result in Cancellation of your GC.Please apply for rentry permit,if you intend this action. This will allow you to return

Topic: H4 EAD Revocation rule

This is a rule , not law. Administration is well within its capacity to revoke it. I think the focus should be getting a law,

Topic: changing nature of job after getting green card.

Making a career change , after 6 months to 1 Year is fine. The question they can raise at the time of naturalization interview is "about the length of time you stayed with the GC sponsoring employer" .If that period > 6 months, they cannot raise the question of fraud.

If this cuts the family based immigration,it will be no no from democrats.Very difficult to do this in current political climate.

Topic: Return to India- job opportunities

We have lived in US for so long. So much unused to in India. US Immigration has taken a toll on us.It took nearly 12 yrs to get a GC, while lot has changed in India.

May be we cannot , hit all bases.
We need to find contentment, with what we have

If you have H1 covering the period from
Aug 2006 To Aug 2007, please send that also.
It will cover the gap in the period.
