Topic: I485 Dec 2016 Fillers

Hello everyone,
Just got the magical message saying that the card was mailed to me on 13th.
I will update my profile.
This forum has been very helpful throughout my green card application process. Thank you all.
Good luck!

I do not know the officer code. My RFE was the expired medicals and the J supplement form, if that helps.

Hello all,
It has been more than a month since the Texas service center received my RFE response. I am thinking of submitting a service request but I am worried that it might further delay my application. Does anyone have experience, suggestions on this?
Thanks.

Hello,
I received and responded the "medical documents expired" RFE. USCIS received my files about 2 weeks ago.
I know it is too soon to raise a Service Request but how long should I wait?
Any examples on how long it takes to get the green card after submitting the medical RFE?
Thanks.

My RFE was the expired medicals. Prepared and sent. RFE was received by USCIS on 02/01/2018.
Then we got the "Name Was Updated" update the next day. I believe this is because of some representative form that my lawyer sent in the package.
Waiting continues.

I finally received my RFE. Basically my medicals are out of date and they also need a J supplement form as well. I will go get all the medicals done all over and try not get any other RFE. Seems like lots of people got RFEs because of missing gonorrhea sections, NOID for missing doctor remarks on the reports, not including lab results. Also heard someone got an RFE for missing flu shot because it was the flu season. I will continue reading but if there is something new that I should also be paying attention to, please let me know. Thanks guys.

Hello All,
I received a response to my service request a while ago, October 10th. It basically says that they aware of my case being outside of normal processing time and there is nothing they can do to make it go faster. Probably it is the same generic mail they send out. But I am still thinking of submitting a second service request.
Received Date 12/06/2016. I am pretty sure my medicals are going to be out of date soon, if not already. Waiting game continues. Good luck!

Thank you for the information.
My doctor messed up and did not fill the Medical form that has the gonorrhea section. So thinking that I would get an RFE, I was going to schedule an appointment and get the new forms, not waiting for the RFE, and pay big bucks again.
So this means that even the medical forms without the gonorrhea section has a possibility of passing through. I hope :)
Thanks.

Hello Everyone,
I received this today; "On October 10, 2017, we sent a response to your inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number SR1269XXXXXXXTSC."
I raised the SR and I did not receive anything via email. Do they mail the SR responses?
Thanks.

I know USCIS is not reliable with timing but I just want to get an idea. What is the wait time from submitting the RFE documents to getting the I-140 resolved? Anyone experienced this? I need to make a decision soon on premium processing.

Topic: I-140 Regular processing time - Texas service center

Hello Everyone;
I received an RFE about budget or some tax documents for my I-140 application. It has nothing to do with me. My company is preparing the up to date documents. My attorney thinks it is common and there is nothing to worry about.
Anyways, my question is, should I go with the premium processing this time? I see many people on this forum switched to premium processing. My received date is December 2016 and the RFE came in August 2017. What are your thoughts?
Thanks,

You will need to follow the USCIS processing times website for I-140 dates.

I raised a SR but I do not think it had anything to do with the RFE update. SR is still not assigned to an officer for processing. Keep in mind that your employer needs to submit the SR otherwise you will have to wait a month to raise another SR :)

Hello all,

Status: On December 7, 2016, we received your Form I-140...

I want to submit a SR. Do you suggest it online or over the phone? If online, my employer and I had doubts about whose information goes where. I believe my employer is the applicant and I am the beneficiary, correct?
Whose info should be entered to "Applicant or Petitioner Information" section?
Whose info should be entered to "Filed By" section?

I know these questions sound stupid but last time we apparently made a mistake and got a response saying that the information could not be disclosed to us. I want to play safe this time.

Thanks.
