So it’s july to September for me?

You may get it towards the end of May or worst case in July. It depends on any new inventory added to EB3I in the first two Qs (2006 and early 2007 PDs), especially dependents added to the queue.

On the whole at the end of FY 2018, I expect the dates to move to May 2008 and 2007 to clear up. If not visas will be wasted or reallocated. Eb3 inventory inventory is too low to expect otherwise.

Why June

I’ve already responded to RFE

Hope I don’t get one more.

Eb3I needs a new inventory. But I think the SO will be applied only towards end of third quarter or by 4th quarter.

If the FAD doesn't move USCIS will accept FDs. They may accept the FDs even this month.

You could be current in March itself. But to get a card as you are expecting you may need wait till June 2017.

When I searched in google, following pulled up. My search phrase was "OCI MHA review"

Topic: August 2014 Eb2I new filers... let us track

This was my GoTo Thread for almost 2 years. Very painful; we are still struggling even after 3+ years.

Think about people who filed in 2012 and their number has not come yet. Think how frustrated they would be. We are better than them.

Considering the processing timings, the inventory must be built by Feb- Mar 18. Otherwise there could visa wastage. Based on RFE issues I believe CO is sincere about utilizing all horizontal SO to to EB3I itself. Thus I believe there will be movement beyond July 2007 by Feb/Mar VB. CO need not to change the dates till the end of FY18.

Topic: Raise Act Timeline

IMO during transition the administration will implement an aggressive vetting process for pending EB based I485 applicants thus expect a lot of NOIDs , RFEs and interviews, in other words the existing rules will be followed to the dot. A perfect applicant will get through easily. For others it will be extremely difficult. For FB based I think the pending cases may be reevaluated for points based.

Yes. My point is American's action would be as per their need rather than empathy. Empathy towards DACA is a little carrot to attract Dem votes in the house and senate and in the long term some eligible Latina votes. Alabama elections also had given them some encouragement to show the "empathy". By saying that don't mistake me for Dem. I am neither.

Topic: Immigration Reform is coming soon

Think like an American would think buddy. No American needs to care about legal immigrants. They need to care about their own job and life standard. Regardless of country most of humanity is selfish. So, lets keep hopes low for any support from anyone whether American or Indian origin permanent residents. Thus it becomes individual's responsibility on how to make life better for themselves.

In fact CTS is not actually halting EB1C, they stopped sponsoring it. In other words they provide all documentation support if employee is can get a lawyer and pay for it.

Yes. There are reductions in Eb1C and lot of reviews with the Eb1/Eb2 on the whole. But for it to produce any SO it takes minimum 18 months. So, no So to EB2 at least until FY 2020

With the uscis delays, i would be happy if there is a week movement, but i wouldn't be surprised if they pause for a month just to catch up. We'll.

Eb2I movements may negatively surprise everyone. So expect the unexpected (if that makes to you :-) )

Since EB3 India demand has been leveled off, do you think they will at least open up FD for EB3I? It moved to Jan 2008 3 months ago.

Unfortunately they don't do that for EB1/EB2/EB3 specifically. EB2 numbers in the pending inventory is very high and this will be the excuse (if they care) for not using the FD.

This is the reason I expect a bigggggg jump in EB3I FA dates in Feb 2018 bulletin . May match FD or even go beyond. Otherwise there is no demand in Eb3 queue on the whole to consume the quota.
