we should all look for getting dates current just by USCIS . I do not think they will pass any immigration bills . How we can achieve the goal of getting dates current ? |

please call uscis and create a case to expediate the case .take that case number and call to your cogressman/senator office and ask them to work with USCIS on your case number .
Even if you called uscis earlier to expediate and they denied , please do it 2nd time . It depends upon which officer takes your phone . You may be lucky 2nd time .

I called senator office (sen. Joe Donnely ) and explained the situation . They asked me submit a written request with my signature and address .They have standard form for that . He said he will call teh agnecy and get information and revert back to me .
Please call your respective area law maker and do the same thing . UsCIS must need to give anser to Law makers |

-1B Backlog and Dependents
USCIS confirmed the delay in processing current H-1B petitions have been due to the backlog of H-1B cap cases. Rest assured USCIS plans on getting caught up with cases in the next month.
On another exciting note, according to Pearl Chang, Acting Chief of USCIS Office of Policy and Strategy, USCIS is working on a proposal that would allow H-4 spousal dependents to apply for work authorization during periods beyond the primary beneficiary’ H-1B 6th year, pursuant to AC21.
