Topic: Case Transferred to NBC - November/December 2017

My case was transferred to NBC on the same date (November 28). I also do not have interview schedule until now.

Topic: Baltimore Local Office Interviews

The posted processing time is pretty much useless. I have two friends who filed their I485 at a later date than I did in August. One had the interview in December and now has a green card. The other has interview scheduled on January 18. I am still waiting for my interview notice. With USCIS, it is not really 'first in, first out'.

It comes from NBC but they coordinate the schedule with the local office. Then, NBC will ship your documents to your local office.

Topic: September 2017 transfer from TSC to NBC

I think that is the normal procedure now. My friends cases got move twice too but theirs have a a gap of about one week between transfers. Today, I received the transfer notice for the November 27 transfer. I am not sure if I will be getting a notice for the November 28 transfer. I was thinking that it could be that the second transfer update was just a duplicate of the November 27 update.

That will suffice. Without a driver's license, passport will do.

Was your application really transferred from USCIS processing center to NBC to local office as you initially thought? My case was transferred to a new office on November 27 and then got another notice on the November 28 that it was transferred again.

No. As long as the new doctor is also a civil surgeon, it will not be a problem. I suggest that you bring a copy of the previous medical form so that the new doctor will know which vaccinations you have received so far.

Nope. I filed in November and there are many earlier applications that remain unprocessed up to now.

Topic: EB2-NIW Nebraska (any receipt date)

That is indeed interesting. Just wondering why if that is the case, USCIS decided to transfer cases from Texas to Nebraska.

Topic: July 2016 GC approvals for NSC

Give it until tomorrow. It happens with USPS sometimes. When the package arrives at the local post office it gets scanned as delivered (probably by error). It could also still get delivered tonight.

Topic: Aug/Sep NSC filers facing long delays for some reason

Just tell them that their customer service sucks! Ahaha! Who would have guessed that of all people it would be you who will get that survey request. If they only knew what you think about this whole process, they surely wouldn't want you responding to the survey. Oh what a big joke!

Or make the submission of all documents electronic so that when a case officer opens a terminal they will get the application in the order received (queued down to the seconds) regardless of which service center they (the case officer) are from and they can't proceed to the next application unless they take action on what they have currently in front of them.

I agree. At the rate they have been going, there is no way they could slow down even more.

What you need is the advanced parole to be able to reenter the US.

It really sucks while TSC now has 4-month processing time for all kinds of I-140.

I read in the forum that as of last week, applications are still forwarded to NSC even though NSC is already backlogged while TSC has mostly just 4 months of processing time.

You sent it to TSC? It could be that they forwarded it to NSC and you'll have to wait for NSC to receive it before they send you the text message. Give it another week. I know it is stressful but you'll just have to wait.

Two days if they received it earlier in the week. But if they received Thursday or Friday, you might not get the text message until the following week.
