Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

My 1st visa was stamped in 2014 and I got stamped the new visa in 2015 (extended with same employer/different client and location).

Since your situation is different, please check with your company's immigration team.

Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

Hi

I went to my home country during Oct'15 and got stamped (thru Drop Box) based on my approved extension while my amendment was in process. I filled the approved petition no & current location details in DS160.

I am not sure about PA cases. Please check with your attorney or your employer.

Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

I went to India during last Sep'15 with my approved extension petition and got stamped while my amendment is in progress.
I came back to US with my stamped visa on Oct'15 and my amendment is still in progress

As long as you have approved extension petition you are good to visit india and get it stamped.
Please check with your employer's visa team or Immigration attorney before you go to India.
