Topic: Upcoming Reduction in Force and 485 approval: Advice needed

Is supplemental J form an optional form? I was thinking its a required form regardless of even if there are no changes. I have been with the same company for 12 yrs who filed my labor. If i continue to be with the same company is the J form required?
mine is EB2 India. sorry to post it here but reading yours above prompted me to ask the question.

Thanks for your time.

Topic: I-140 Successor In Interest

Did you have your SII approved? Any insight on yours would help me to make a decision. I have a PD of EB2 2010 and I dont think i will get current and my company has been holding to benefit me and i dont want to wait any longer. we have a buyer so trying to see if this process is easier.

I know its close to 10 months for you so trying to see if you got it approved?

if we get current during the SII amendment can we concurrently file 485?

Appreciate any inputs.

Thanks
Karthik

Topic: I-140 Successor In Interest

thanks Karthik. do you know if it requires any of mine like experience letter etc?

i would hope it may need a standard contract that covers the petitions etc. do you know if one needs to do it even if there is a president change without no other changes. like company name etc remains the same.

Sorry for the number of questions.

Hi,

Can you please let me now if your SII went through? Can you please share your timelines with respect to that. I am in a situation where my company has been thinking about it. I want to see if going out of the company completely would be a better option.

Appreciate any advise and thanks for your help.

Topic: Successor In Interest

Hi,

I am in an unique situation where my company is thinking of a merger or an acquisition. Will a successor in Interest be needed

1) if the company is sold to an individual but name of the company etc does not change
2) if the company is sold to another company but the division stays with the company name still there.

Can someone please let me know if point 1 is the option successor in interest is still required. As there is no time frame I don't want to be stuck in it.

Topic: Medicals outside India

Thanks for you reply. Are your parents 70+? I have decided to do it here itself as I dont want to take any risk. I dont think a month is going to do anything. Do they have to take all the vaccinations? I am hoping there is something that tell you by age. I wasnt able to find anything on the website.

Thank you

Topic: Medicals outside India

Thanks for the reply. He is 70 years old. Its not about the money here. I am thinking of doing it there as there is a month left for him to come and he can make use of the time. With his knee issues I dont want to be running around for a doctor here.

I am hoping he can atleast carry the proof of immunization to reduce the time here.

Thanks.
Karthik

Topic: Medicals outside India

Hello All,

My dad is from Chennai and very soon his family based GC will be done by my sister here as he has been alone for the last few years with health issues. I just wanted to know if the medicals can be done in Chennai. US Consulate Chennai has Appollo hospital listed as the approved place for medicals.

Is it possible to do it there and start the process in the US. Has anyone tried it. Appreciate any response.

Thanks.

Hi Spidey,

You had mentioned about the claim from TATA AIG and they reimburse in INR. How do you pay here? The bills are given here right? who pays the bill?
Can you please explain the claim process?

I was hoping to buy an insurance from here but after reading your posts I am reluctant. My dad is 70 yrs old and i want to see if taking it from tata AIG or here is better. Not about the cost but about the coverage. This insurance drives us crazy and hope there is a way out.

Topic: I140 successor in Interest

Hi,
I have a PD of EB2 2010 and I know it would take a while for mine to get current. while my company is exploring a possibility of merging or being acquired by another one, thats when I was looking at this I 140 successor in Interest. Please let me know if anyone has gone through this.
1) Is it true that there is no premium processing for this?
2) How long would it take to process this?
3) Would there be any documents needed from our side as i would think it would be the documents from the companys side.
4) is it possible to wait and do this when we get current? The reason for asking is if the dates get current would I not miss filling because of this? Has anyone waited and filed once the dates are current.

Appreciate any inputs here. Thanks again.

Regards
K

I hope for all the hard work that the volunteers of various organization have put in i pray this bill goes further. I think the bill would die if he goes out. 2018 is not far enough so very little time left.
