Sure, will do. Thanks for posting your details. I had gotten my EAD/AP around 115 day mark (post RD), while my wife's took close to 180 days, so hang in there.

Folks,
Looking for some guidance on what to expect post I140 approval - my concurrently filed I140 recently got approved. With the new interview rule in place, I am looking for some ballpark estimates of when to expect the NBC/local office transfer notice. Particularly interested in hearing from concurrently filed folks. Or, is there no difference between concurrently and separately filed I485s post I140 approval? Not sure how much of the background check and verification processes are initiated/completed by USCIS prior to I140's approval, but interested in hearing your thoughts. Appreciate any inputs.

Regards

Probably filing EB1A with VC is a better option than EB1B with Fragomen. My friend was working with them and his experience was pretty bad. First they accepted the case and then there was confusion if he is eligible or not on layers side. My profile was not as good as yours but I applied for Eb1A through VC and I am confidant about it unless I come across tough officer.

Thanks for your inputs. Since my employer is paying, I am more inclined towards Fragomen for now. I am pushing for a premium processing, though. If my employer does not approve it, I will reconsider.

Does anyone know a ballpark estimate of how much VC or similar reputed lawyers charge for EB1 filing for myself and my wife, no dependents. I am in New York, if that matters.

HI Experts,

This question gets popping up. If I have patents through my previous employer, do they count towards my EB1B application? I don't see any reason why it shouldnt be? Research is research, your contribution is contribution irrespective of your employer or institution. Right?

I think you should - when I was preparing my documents, my lawyers were asking me about the present status of the invention disclosures I had filed from a past internship. Though the employers own the patents in the corporate world, you should still be able to list them as your inventions.

Your credentials are undoubtedly at par or better than people who get their GC under Eb1B. Like others, I would suggest to push your lawyer to go for PP.

Thanks, will do.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will push for PP with the lawyers. By the way, my employer is using Fragomen for the filing (has been doing that for ~5 years now). Any ideas on how they are? Thanks...

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to check with the community if it is advisable to go for premium processing or not for my case, based on the recent trends. My employer's law firm is suggesting not to go for it, as it might trigger an RFE, but I wanted to hear the opinions of this community. I am on schedule to file concurrently by the end of may.
