Topic: TCS and CTS biggest beneficiaries of EB1C in fiscal year 2017

Why go through all of that. I say people working for EVC models should be unable to file GC or even start the process. Only those who work FTE directly with the client company should be allowed. EVC is where all the fraud and abuse is. Resume fabrication, and mock interview practice. Scrap out the EVC model. They can stay on H1B if they like but no GC sponsorship allowed for EVC. The same should be applied to EB1C also. Problem auto solved.

Also I feel there needs to be a per state cap for Hyderabad and South Indian states. Way too many have abused and gamed the system from Hyderabad. Once these guys become managers all they hire are other people FROM Hyderabad or folks who speak South Indian language.

Topic: The true reason for 70 years GC wait

This article left out the main problem, which is uncontrolled population growth which gives rise to other problems.

Topic: May VB prediction

I got just 2 question here:

1) How accurate is this website as far as predictions are concerned ?

http://www.mygcvisa.com/visa-bulletin/visa-bull...

Based on the current movement it is predicted by that same website (GC Calculator) that those who have EB3 India PD of 2015 will be current in 2020. Is that possible ?

2) Are they considering "Dates for Filing Applications" ? Or are they only considering "File Action Dates" ?

Topic: May VB prediction

I am hoping all those people who kept saying EB3 is less skilled than EB2, I hope they will apply this theory to themselves and keep themselves from porting from EB2 to EB3. Hopefully these people don't downgrade and we will keep seeing good movement of EB3 overall.

Topic: Returned to India

If people are going back I am sure most have kids who are US citizens so they have some back up plans of returning back to US in the future. Also I don't mean to sound rude to others here, but looking at this from a positive side, I feel the EB dates will likely move faster which is a good thing.

Topic: Increased H1B denials - Effect of the 02/22 Memo?

So how are they determining if the work you are doing is relevant to your educational background ? What standards are they using to make this determination ?

For example a person can have Telecommunication systems engineering as his background but he can end up taking courses from other majors like Programming in python, Java, web tools, database, etc. Are they just looking at the title of your degree or are they looking at which courses have you taken ?

Topic: Increased H1B denials - Effect of the 02/22 Memo?

The only people who are safe are the one who have a master degree here and work in a top notch company like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook or Amazon on level 4 wage. These folks shouldn't have a hard time getting their H1B extended.

If you are EB1C category then I am happy that it got rejected. Let me celebrate this weekend in recognition of your rejection. We need more and more rejections for EB1C fake category.

Topic: H-1B: BART reluctantly allows group to paper stations, trains

I feel they can make rules for only consulting companies (without calling it discrimination) and they should since they are the major reason who caused this mess in the first place by categorizing them as H1B dependent companies which majority of them are. Personally I feel the entire EVC model is to be blamed along with consulting companies.

Look at the comments people are posting for that article link I gave. I was pointing to the comments people are posting under "comments" link for that article. Not the fact that yahoo put this article on their site.

Topic: Cut off date introduced on EB1 India

USCIS and DHS needs to start a massive crackdown and investigation on EB1C approved GC's in the past 5 years. If found fraudulent revoke their GC's and send ICE to pick them up for deportation. Meanwhile there should be a complete halt to EB1C date movement.

Topic: RHC MEGA Rally in DC - April 15

" I think you are using Amazon/Google/Apple/Facebook for the sake of argument. No one is that stupid to start off with EB3. Certainly not the folks who join these companies. Eb3 is for low-skilled labor."

I know numerous people who joined these companies on EB3 because they just started their GC process and also due to budget reasons the department could not show that the position needed 5 years experience + bachelor degree or a masters degree despite of them actually having a masters degree. I don't think its about stupidity as you call it, but these companies will always play by the rules, versus a desi body shop who can easily show the position needs masters or bachelors + 5 years exp despite the position not requiring so, or by training and faking the resume. So it is a matter of luck. Anyways after spending few years and switching jobs roles within the same companies people usually bump to EB2. Its just a matter of getting the GC process started and locking the PD.

Topic: ICE raid on consulting companies

Let the US government decide who they need to go after. I am just happy they are cracking down on desi body shops who have done everything to abuse the H1B system left and right backlogging the GC. So we FTE's should sit back, relax and watch the show by grabbing a bag of popcorn.

Some Indian mentality myths:

1) People earning 80k to 90k is Low Wage
Answer: It is certainly NOT !! Depends on the location. While people working at 60k could be considered low wage.

2) EB3 people are low skilled:
Answer: No they are NOT !! Mostly un-lucky. People working in companies like Amazon/Google/Apple/Facebook start off with EB3. Then after working few years bump to EB2. It doesnt automatically mean less skilled than EB2. Just depends on departments budget.

Topic: why Eb2 , & Eb3 India is so much backlogged.

India has a population and corruption problem. Almost every teenager or youngster who graduates with an Engineering degree wants to come to US and apply for GC because no one wants to stay in India, due to high population density, pollution, traffic jams due to population explosion, and almost no availability of space, and lack of discipline. The summers in India is getting unbearable so everyone is likely to escape to some other countries like US, Australia, UK, Europe or Canada. The high population makes everything super competitive, from getting girl friends to jobs to promotions you name it. There's a line for everything. The only open space you will get will be in your own house, LOL everywhere else you will be pushed around. There has been no population control measure so far and people do not realize that a certain level of quality of life needs to be maintained. Until reproduction rate is not sustained this will continue.

Topic: New H1B memo

That's a good thing. Less H1B's = Less new GC applicants = Less EB1C's. Hopefully we can get some parking space now at the Indian grocery store.
