my online status has just changed to: Your Case Status: Oath Ceremony

We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice...

What does this mean? Usually how long it takes to get the oath letter anyone knows?

seemed like new IO to me since he had to step out several times to ask his "supervisor" if something came up during our interview. and he couldn't even do my fingerprint in his office for some reason. at the end he gave me the n652 letter indicating that i passed english/civic but has to wait for USCIS's reponse in mail. i didn't get any oath scheduing information at all.

your so lucky GCJan2007! my interview went ok but the IO only gave me the n652 letter stating that i passed the test/english and USCIS will send me results in mail. not sure how long i have to wait though. sigh... everyone's experience is different. p.s. my case is very simple and not even a traffic ticket and lived in us for over 20 years now. again, congrats!!!

thanks so much for your response E6NikonF5! during the interview the IO pulled out my n-400 and checked through all the questions with me and occasionally asked here and there. then moved onto the "yes" & "no" questions section which he basically asked each one of them and i responded with either "yes" or "no" carefully. after that he suddenly asked that if i had bring couple of recently taken photos and i was surprised since no where on the requirement form asked for that! then he had to step out to ask his "supervisor" and then returned said that only people with name change request needed that. relief! i guess i'll just wait patiently for the results. sigh....

thanks for your response chandrach! i guess i will just have to wait patiently then. i've been waiting over 8 months for my interview letter to come in eventually anyways and compare to that this was "piece of cake"

went last Wed. for my interview. the officer seemed new and his computer wasn't working so that i had to do my finger print in another room (maybe his supervisor). at the end, he just handed the n-652 form with "you passed english test etc." & "USCIS will send you noticed in mail etc." checkboxes checked. neither boxes for A or B was checked though. what did that mean? anyone had similar experience at Philly FO? thanks!

last Wed. i went to citizenship interview and everything went well. however, at the end the officer didn't approve my case instead he handed me the n-652 form with both "you pasted the english test" & "USCIS will send you a response in the mail" checkboxes. anyone know what that meant? thanks!
