Topic: Interview Experience

Hi Though my centre was Texas, i got approved last month. Interview was formality but set up is very professional so go prepared as much as you can. Carry originals of whatever you may think could be important. They may not ask anything at the end of day. All my details in my profile.

I was on L1A. They didnt ask for any original document except for passport. Having said that dont assume they wouldnt ask for things like birth cert, marriage cert, paystubs, employment letter etc. You should be prepared for that. After oath by raising hands, IO saw my passport, asked if i work for same company and then she started chatting more casually about my previous work experiences in singapore, japan, switzerland and UK. I have worked for same company across the globe. She asked few Yes/No question already filled in I485. Done in 5 or 6 mins in total.

Topic: USCIS Ombudsman Teleconference on Interview Requirements

I hope your interpretation is right but I heard from my lawyer otherwise. Yes I wasn't in the call therefore I said I can't personally vouch any information. Lawyer called in to make sure I'm flexible with my business travel plans as interview could be scheduled anytime but surely there would be one.

Not very sure about 'not everyone filing after 6th March 2017 will receive an interview'. My lawyer said 'everyone' based on USCIS teleconf yesterday. I personally cant vouch for any information.

I would say it's delayed. I don't think you can do much currently than waiting for SR response.

I had thought of you not worthy of response but let me put forth few points. First don't talk about rights. Getting GC is not alien's right. Everyone who earns here pays taxes so any singular identity here is not exception. Everyone gets GC as per their stipulated quota and everyone goes through application set aside by govt agency. Whether someone commits fraud or not is agency's work area jurisdiction. Now if you know about fraud or want to raise issues, you very well do that. I appreciate it. Fraud shouldn't happen and must be stopped. By using filthy language and cornering certain visa type category you are just demeaning yourself and section of people you represent. Though I'm not aware but I'm sure there would be fraudsters everywhere in every visa type in all parts of the world. Calling EB1C cheapsters only reflects your background and educational identity. federal taxes I paid last year would perhaps be more than total compensation you would be getting. I'm a senior Vice President in a drug research company and lead a section of more than 200 people. I don't like firing but trust me I have hired thiousands in my lifetime. I come to these forums to see what fellows in here go through and how herd interaction helps people opionate. Trust me I don't really need to come to these forums. Hundreds of PhD and physicians work with me and for me. You seem to be first among few who makes me think what education made you behave the way you do. I feel bad for my countrymen who are waiting in line for GC for years and perhaps there are many who deserve to get it much earlier than sick person like you. If you want to bring changes, then do it in right way, at right time in right forums. Thank you.

Your frustration is so evident. The benefit you talking about is the privilege offered by US govt and not your right. Your statements prove that you are a loser. You better do another PhD coz previous one doesn't seem enough to give you serenity to behave on public forums. Keep dignity of university that offered you PhD coz certainly you have no dignity for yourself.

That's ok! We will follow whatever new rules come. At least won't sulk and complain as losers like you. Fraud should be stopped everywhere but cornering one category and labeling all of them as fraudsters is a glowing sign of losers.

Ha ha ha! Opposer or dreamer? USA will decide who they want here and who not. Someone begging for GC will not decide. Beggars are not choosers.

Topic: EB1C I-140 Approved - When can I technically change employer ?

1) can enforce AC21 after 6 months of 140 approval. So wait.
2) file your and spouse AOS and EAD AP in oct and get EAD in 90 days. That's better proposition. You and family will get EAD around same time.
3) no one can say time period for 485 approval. Can get EAD AP in around 90 days.
4) you can file 485 as soon as you are current that is October 2017.
5) USCIS send finger print center location based on your address on file. Whatever address you file for 485 and EAD AP application, they will decide fingerprint location based on that.
