Topic: February 2018 transfer to NBC

On February 9, 2018 they transferred my case to NBC. Today (March 23) the update says they sent request for initial evidence on March 9 but I’m yet to receive it. I sent all documents and don’t know what do they want. Anyone on the same boat?

Topic: October I-485 Filers (2017)

Applied TSC and tracking showed received 12/11/2017. So far no acknowledgement or receipt notice online or paper. When should I expect at least a receipt notice? Today is only 12/14/2017 though.

I think the SR triggered the officer to find out the status of the case which probably was approved by then. Heard that happened to others too. Perhaps they "forgot" to send approval notices sometimes and need an SR to kinda dig that out. Yes, they changed online status one week after I received the approval notice in mail.

They said they assigned an officer for response and then one week later, voila, approval letter!

Submitted EB2 NIW June 30th. No update. Lawyer raised an SR 11/15. Called USCIS today: the rep said they are taking full 6 months to process NIWs now. "expect a decision in about a month". Don't really get it. If the processing time is 6 months, why did they post that TSC is processing cases from 15 July now?

Appreciate your response. I guess you can call my case "complex", that's fair. I am certainly not stellar as far as the citations record goes :( Waiting is the name of the game....

RD 06/30/2017
EB2-ROW
TSC
Case Received is the last message.
I am worried because a lot of applications with even August RD is already approved!

When you say, "no update" you mean not even "case was received" status?

Topic: I-140 filled in January 2017

hm, that is kinda odd. I had my friends I-140 processed in 2 months in TSC: submitted on April 5th, Approved in late June (EB2). But the TSC says they are processing cases from January: that can't be true as his petition was submitted in April 2017!

Topic: 90% of NIW cases at TSC have processing time less than 125 day

Yeah, I noticed some cases filed with TSC/SRC had pretty fast processing. Could it be due to Dhanasar? Has there been any data on how Dhanasar improved (hopefully) the approval rate? Please enlighten!
