Topic: entry stamp on travel doc & not passport

Hello, i need some help to figure this out: i came back to the US with a re-entry permit/travel docum. the officer put the visa stamp only on the permit/travel docum. - which will expire in a few days- & not on my passport.

I intent to apply for another re-entry permit, could this lack of entry stamp on my passport give me any trouble whatsoever?

Thank for your help.

Topic: a green card re-entry permit to renew

Dear kuzmat: thanks for your reply!
it is a re-entry permit not an AP. Thanks again for your help - appreciated.

Topic: a green card re-entry permit to renew

Hello everyone,

I need some help to figure this out:
is it risky to re-enter the US with UNexpired green-card re-entry permit (let's say 10 days before it expires)?
I also intend to send a new application to renew (any help or suggestion, welcome), of course it will be submitted unexpired, but i was wondering if having a few days left is the same as - let's say - having a month left before expiration.

thanks a lot to everyone for your help :D

Topic: New i-131, pls. help

hello everyone,

i need a little help to figure this out: let's say my i-131 expires on 12/31, (and i need to travel outside the US between submition and the biometric appointment) do i need to submit the new application early enough so that my biometric appt. is before 12/31 (my old i-131 expiration date) or is not a problem to have the biometric appointment past the expiration date of your old i-131?

I think when i re-enter for my biometric they will consider that i left the US for only a few (3-4) wks. since re-entering on my i-131 and give me no probs. but I'm sure people here know better....

thanks a lot to everyone
