Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

I have similar situation like you. According to my employer, i should do premium processing if i am looking for faster results and i should not carry old petition for stamping. It will get rejected as your new location got changed. As some other folks mentioned you can be pass thru if you are lucky.
I had a travel plan in end of December and i postponed it to mid February. But i don't think i can make it that too except i upgrade my case to premium.

Thanks Jagani. Do you have similar situation like me when you went for Stamping? I never stamped since 2008 and my VISA was expired in 2010. Now i have approved petition for current employer (different than stamped VISA in 2008) but pending amendment for recent client change. I am confirming with you because one of the lawyer mentioned, "If you don't have a valid approval on the amendment for the work site where the position is to be located, then the visa shouldn't be approved, unless you continue to work at the original work site and have that position still available. This is not legal advice, so please speak to the company's immigration attorney to discover what you need to do." If you have similar situation like me then please let me know what are the documents to carry. Thanks again.

Topic: H1b amendment processing time?

Hello All, I have question. I recently filed my amendment in CSC (Oct 14'15) and still in process. I didn't go to India since 2010 and after that i changed my employer once. Currently i have approved petition till 2017. Can i go to India with old petition ( with the current employer name) and get it stamped and come back? As amendment is taking so long, is it possible to do that? I asked same question some lawyer told i can able to that? Can anybody have similar cases like me, please share.
