Only if WH is serious in turning United states of America into United states of India

Even if they hand over a GC to every Indian in US we will still be less than the mexicans.
First the need to deal with United States Of Mexico.

LOL, there’s a very good chance HR 392 will make its way with the Dream Act.
HR 392 is more of a democratic bill and republicans don’t seem to mind it ( I think they would want to remove any family based provision). Raise is a GOP capitalist bill and democrats seem OK with it, what might end up happening is something in the middle. We just want to make sure we don’t get left out..
Im OK with either as long as something happens, I have a Masters, CFA, am Vice President at a bank, and make over
$350K + bonus. So no problem with Raise.

I am CEO with one of the biggest tech companies in the world. I can't name it for obvious reasons. I support RAISE act partially with some modifications to accomodate legals in backlog.

1.5 million is a big number to fail.Things and loopholes will appear when the time comes. Everything is subject to interpretation.
Depending on the situation at that time things can go North or South.

Ok Sir, as you say, 1.5 M is big number,
Hope you realize that is - why I am telling since it has now become a huge number we wont t give free pass. HR3012 in 2012 there was only 400k backlog, now its 3 times. Its not an easy problem and faireness problem any more, unfortunately its has become Indian problem.

I also have the same anxiety like you but my option is due to political reason , they will wipe out backlog with a one time trick, flush out existing and they will start from scratch.

We are debating unnecessary on a bill which wont happen in next 3-4 years, the good thing on this bill is the bill dont have country cap, so future anyone coming will not have any hardships and will be fully merit based.

There will NOT be any inclusiveness to provide relief of 1.5 Million Legals and same will happen to 11 Million illegals.

They can't flush out even if they want to. The lawsuits will prevent this.

I am not squealing "dear" and neither can you do anything about getting a GC. You are squealing as you are "caught in the rat race". I am not whining, you are. I am super safe "dear". Even DT cannot kick me out but he can kick you out and may be I will vote for him in 2020 if he promises to. Loser. And dude, I am a dudess....must hurt you more. Your GC will never happen, mark my words.

Hmm Interesting !Chill DT is not gonna kick anyone including DACA. You will see if nothing works out he will reinstate previous DACA.

"Are you frustated because inspite of having US Citizenship you could'nt do much in life and struggling to find jobs or facing competetion from high skilled folks :-) ? And thats why you are lurking in these forums and preventing people from getting citizenship Captain America ? Do you really think spewing venom here will make an iota of change."

Frustrated that people with your attitude come from the same country as me. Let me make some things clear to you. I have a master's degree and an MBA from good US universities. I am making very good money and have been with my current employer for 10 years and have climbed the corporate ladder (my team has both Indians and non-Indians most of whom I hired). Own a huge house in Texas and a couple of rental properties as well. In my opinion I have achieved the American Dream. Since I bore no ill will towards others I guess things fell in place rather quickly for me and I was able to exit the GC race.

You are correct about my lurking here. I started as I was trying to advise a cousin of mine and had not been in touch with any immigration topics since 2009 which is when I naturalized. I see a lot of good folks that are stuck in the race but are gracious and then I see people like you and I cannot stop myself from adding oil to the fire. And look its working.

The fact is you can squeal and whine all you want but you can't do anything buddy. I feel emphathetic towards your state of mind. Stay safe dear !

Rexint,

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned. - Buddha

You seem to be brimming with anger. You can demean other groups and wish ill upon them, but that will not speed up your GC process. Just chill.

It does not matter what Buddha said . Everyone must follow law of land.
When they came here they might have been children but now they are grownups. Instead the US goverment should focus on how to re-settle them in their mother country.Probably they could issue some financial grants to resettle and train these people in their home countries.

Rexint,

The government is trying to do the same with you " re-settle them in their mother country" by making it close to impossible to get a GC. You are correct about "It does not matter what Buddha said" since people like you can never change and will just be miserable about everything.

It appears you are more frustated than me. IF GOVERMENT REALLY WANTED US TO Re-Settle back then it would have done so already and no one could have stopped it. As long as we are producing money to feed their economically lower american ppl no one can touch us.Sure they can make it difficult but its hard to stop entirel. But nevertheless i wish DACA get re-settle properly in their country of origin as here they will grow old fighting the system and its not worth for them.

Dude, I am a US citizen already but you are correct about me being frustrated. Frustrated that people like you want to be a part of this country. Thankfully it will not happen unless you already spawned a US citizen child in which case you will join the country when that child can sponsor you. Pay more attention to making sure the child has enough qualifications to sponsor his/her dad/mom.

And dude, the govt does want you out.I cringe to say this but have to just to prevent idiots like you from becoming american "MAGA".

Topic: Oppose DACA for all its worth!

First of all F daca.. I mean US govt is seriously stupid to bring this into law. They are practically inviting illegals into their home. There is a system and procedure in place for people to come in. We all have been through it. It is not an easy piece of cake to just grab it! It takes patience, time and hard work for years and years to get settled! If this thing will become law then not only these 800K people will be legal and their parents (eventually) but also the future ones. So an illegal immigrant just have to cross the border and thats it!

Their rhetoric statement "we pay taxes and we contribute to the society" is a major bullsssst. More than 100 million Indians and 100 Million chinese are contributing to society constructively and truth be told better than the daca people, so does that mean they have a free pass once they cross the border ILLEGALLY. Which part of illegal US doesnt get it? They are criminals and they broke the law. If you are putting your children in danger to make them cross the dangerous border where you have to walk for days with limited food and water then I dont understand what type of parenting you are doing! I mean come on! They should be put into jail and here US govt is providing them amnesty. So the only fault why we are suffering is because we followed the protocol and law? Indians legal immigrants pay way too much tax than daca and if you compare these two societies then you may get the answer of contributing to the society.

Their country is a mess, In latin american countries most parts you just cant go because of crime, that DOESN'T mean you have a right to just come in by breaking the law. One thing I used to like Trump (the only thing) that he was firm in his statements and used to say "Either we have borders or we don't, either we have a country or we don't" I guess this is not a country but a dharamshala. I don't know what sessions is doing! He rises his voice for H1b like he pays H1b from his pocket and now he is silent for people who are breaking the law.

Before anyone start their defending nature of favor daca, just answer me two simple questions.

1. Had they not broken the law(s) by their illegal presence, ignorance is not an excuse of the crime. So whatever happening in their country doesnt give them a right or an excuse to just barge into someone's country. Iraqi/syrians are far more in need than these illegals.

2. Had their parents not put their life in danger while crossing the border? Had they not known that their presence is illegal and still they did it.

I understand your anger buddy but please have some mercy on those ppl. May the goverment should make sure that these people can not sponsor their illegal parents and relatives once they become cotizens.

Ok the whole crux of the matter is since Indians and Chinese are suppressed for so many years and waiting in the queue for long time they got frustated. Now if they complain then they get the non emphathetic response that this is the law of land and they knew what they are getting into beforehand..while this might not be true because no body knew what they are getting into when they first received the H1-B . Its was couple of yrs down the line that they realised and came to know about this back log. By the time their entire process of perm and i140 finished the backlog grew multifold .
Now when they see some other group get a free pass and not even penalised for breaking the law its becomes intolerable to them.I think both groups are right and both the groups sufferings are real thogh these exists at different levels.
Indians getting bitter is natural . DACA should be given some legal status to stay but not before legals waiting here for decades.

What you say is true. The suffering exists at different level. On compassionate grounds, I would prefer a DACA beneficiary to get to stay here vs I getting GC sooner than later. That much is clear to me.

Our wait has been long and frustrating often with adverse affect on career growth (I know!). But DACA beneficiaries would suffer much more if they don't get some sort of protection.

DACA beneficiaries don't know any other country or life. They didn't chose to come here. And now after all these years, its cruel to deny the only life style they know.

Anyways they need not worry, that vote bank won't be trifled with.

We can't be the last in the queue.

Bingo. You got it exactly mate.

Seriously...there is absolutely no comparison here. Even if you are not compassionate enough, at least be sensible guys. You DO NOT gain anything by opposing them. All you'd do is show yourself as a dispassionate being void of any logical thinking.

Our pains are real. Absolutely true but we need to fight for it separately; that fight doesn't include opposing or wishing harm for others.

There is no real way a bunch of keyboard warriors online are going to have any effect on DACA policy. This country knows what it is doing and all of this bluster means nothing in the real world.
DACA recipients are going to be legalized, one way or the other. We should focus our energy on our own problems instead of trying to drag others down.

Is there any way we can forge our legal status to become illegal ?

Lets not compare DACA with us. There is a huge difference between them and us. They have giant balls. It takes guts to go out and protest as an illegal alien. They did that without any fear or consequences. They deserve the reward. We on the other hand donate to scam organizations like IV and click on like when they get the cosponsor. Guess what, for a $3K donation, you can get a cosponsor to declare H1Bs as Einsteins. And why the heck IV will get the bill passed. Who will pay for all the free dinners/excursions to DC?

How many of us have left work and protest by the USCIS office about the unfairness of this? How many of us came out and report the desi consultancy scam that harms American workers. How many of us reported the big companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Google who takes advantage of our servitude?

So stop being jealous of the strong ones. Accept it that we are weak and meek and decades away from the green card.

But what is there for us to protest??? We ar making good money, leaving a comfortable life EXCEPT for the GC!!! Come on, all our lives are million times better than home, and yet we complain! We dont have a GC and so all this big hullabaloo about rights and nonsense. Same thing happened during the H-4 EAD issue and Indian newspapers compared live under H-4 to Slavery!!! what a joke!! DACA people have LOT to lose REALLY not like our fake cases.

DACA must be deported soon after ICE raids .

Hi Friend,

There is lot of people doing fraud to get Gc.But please Dont think All EB1C is doing fraud to get the green card.

I am also in EB1C.But I have two master degree and I am working for the same company last 10 Years as a Manager.

So kindly don't complaint for all EB1 visa holders as blindly.

There is lot of people doing fraud for to get EB2 Visa too. They are making fake certificate and experience letters to get the H1B visa and GC.

So fraud is fraud always. That may be EB1,EB2 and EB3 and EB4

Yes these are some gulti ppl who have created the backlog for indians. Its considered very bad in their community if they are not in US so they do anything to be here in US.
You see the widow of that Kansas Gulti who died in shooting still wants to stay in US
