Topic: EB1C - Texas service center

there is no such thing as a pattern. I am with my large european company for 20+years, I was in executive management positions before i came to the US, I have senior management reporting to me. My I140 took slightly more than a year to get approved.

Topic: Feb 2017 I-485 filers

I am on day 423 since submission I turned in my renewal application for AP I absolutely positively have to travel on May 8th which is 102 days after they received the application. Received a rfe for expired medical just about 2 weeks after it expired which I returned promptly it took them 12 days just to update the online status to received and since no update...
I just wrote wrote to the congressman and the senator as well as the comptroller that if I don't have travel documents by Jan 8th I will travel regardless and then move somewhere else if they don't want my taxes. This is a restriction of my freedom for no plausible reason. The other issue we are having dps does not want to renew my wife's driver license without a new card which means she does not have a valid driver license. I like it here I am well integrated in the local community but if they don't want me I am not desperate they can go fuck themselves. We are seriously looking into moving to grand cayman since we both have 100% travel jobs and they have no income tax and capital gains tax which would offset additional travel cost to the US...

No it’s not that is patent nonsense but it also has no effect in terms of speeding up the process...
there are several Jan 2017 filers that just now in Jan/feb got approved so keep your legs still... time will come... current timeframe is probably just over a year and you won’t change it...

I’d brace myself for a longer wait... my 140 got approved after one year and two weeks then got RFE for medical on 485 returned within a week now waiting... I’m on day 409 counting and considering that ap takes 4-6 months those days I wouldn’t count on a speedy process... the uscis Processing Times site is worth nothin...

Topic: Democrat are not to solve our problem

For one you are mixing things, a) what does fleeing from war have to do with legal immigration? b) you justify a false, intentionally exaggerated populist media by referring to possible different actual problems.

I do have a German passport and I am full support of standing by our moral standards and obligations under international contracts and treaties, and I am very sure most Germans are.
Could it be done better? Has there been mistakes? Yes absolutely it comes with problems that have to be taken care of. Crime problems with refugees is caused by cramping hundreds of young men into temporary housing with very little offers in opportunities to keep them busy with something.
Part of a solution to those problems btw would be if there were more countries like Sweden and Germany that stand by the values they proclaim... More solidarity within the world community and the European Union would result in less concentration of refugees and better conditions and supervision for them which would result in less problems. But Donald Duck likes to talk big about Christian faith in front of fundamentalist voters on Prayers Day but gives a shit about the moral standards that come with it.

I by no means would be careless and saying that there are no problems to be dealt with but Breitbart bullshit has to called out bullshit and be prevented being spread because there are people that actually believe it and its also unacceptable to have someone justify bullshit with something that has nothing to do with it.

Topic: Democrat are not to solve our problem

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/10/26/germ...

This is absolute nonsense and far from the truth and serves only the Breitbart intentions!

The facts are :
that the group of war refugees from Syria came to Germany and were split into 4 different groups of families;
the guy claims to be the father of all 23 kids;
the guy is, according to German law, legally married to one woman who he now lives together with, the other wives have no legal connection with him under German law, they all received protection under their own status because they fulfilled the requirements just as if they came alone;
the other 3 women each with their children live in their own apartment. The group of people were officially recognized as war refugees under German law according to the Geneva Conventions and therefore legally receive benefits from the German social security system, this is a temporary status they will have to go back, this is what happened to all the refugees from Yugoslavia, this has nothing to do with legal immigration;
according to public records the monthly cost incl. 4 apartments, cash and non cash benefits paid by the social security office those 28!!!! refugees totals EUR 17,400.- per month that is a EUR 621,- cost per month and head, which is currently per month and head USD ~757 or ~9100 per year and head or USD 250,000.- per year total (360000 slight Breitbart alternative fact or you will probably put it to my brainwashed liberal mind);

NOBODY receives USD 300,000.- in benefits!!! that is right wing populist nonsense! Just think about what you can get for USD 757 after you paid rent. They ought to spend their time while they need protection in a human way but they are by no means enjoying a luxurious live in Germany.

I think the need protection and shelter as defined in the Geneva Conventions or by the UN is indisputable, the non existent solidarity in the world and European community has put extra burden on countries that stand by moral standards, responsibility and contracts.
After all the US carries a substantial responsibility when it comes to the situation in Syria yet has done very little for the people.

People believing and spreading those kind of populist, false alternative facts is living far from truth, accusing someone else to be brainwashed without even being able to divide 360,000 by 28 yet actually do a fact check is ridiculous! Its especially disgraceful for a group of immigrants that claims to be high skilled.

thats all it is anyways! The only useful information you get out of the processing time page is, that Nov. 30th was 8 weeks ago. The rest of the dates has noting to do with reality whatsoever...

Topic: I-485 RFE but no I-140 approval notice

Hi

Got an update from USCIS today that they mailed a request for evidence on my i-485. Which I knew was going to happen because attorney forgot to file i-508 However I did not get approval on my i-140 yet it still shows case received online. also no approval notice yet.

Any thoughts anyone? Does that mean my 140 is most likely already approved?

Cheers

Topic: EB ROW injustice

I disagree, as long as chain migration is happening there have to be quotas. Part of the diversity issue is, that those 2-3 top countries don't only apply for skilled worker visas / GC but also every GC applicant from this country is starting a chain of immigrants for years to come.
The diversity lottery does not fix this issue and is not a good tool to fix it in the first place imho. Ending chain migration on the other hand imho would be an important part of fixing some of the issues including contributing to reduce H1B and other abuse...

I also see a fair point in the need of diversity because from my own experience those groups of immigrants tend to encapsulate themselves in their own world... integration and diversity looks different...

I know there will be at least one of you guys now blow of on me... this is just my view. I think there is a major issue with this immigration system and it needs to be fixed but it would need to be fixed on so many levels not just the one you personally feel is unfair to you, your community, your nationality...

Topic: EB1C - Texas service center

this makes no sense the correlation says nothing about weather a case that gets an rfe will be denied because hopefully denied cases got an rfe before the final decision to give them a chance to improve their case...

you could turn it around that only weak cases that are intend to deny will get an rfe... but that won't make any sense either...
