No offense meant, but you should do some more research atleast on USCIS website to learn about the GC process. It will take you a long way in terms of setting the right expectations, taking the correct steps, aspiration is good but be ready to spend some perspiration!

On on your question, as per USCIS for extension beyond 6 years, you need to have an approved perm or you need a pending perm that was filed atleast 1 year before the max out date. In both cases you can get only 1 year of extension. If your I-140 is approved that means you can get extensions upto 3 years but depends on USCIS, you may get 1 year or 2 or 3.

The timelines for perm and I-140 approval is dependent on various factors, there is no set SLA by DOL or USCIS. The perm is filed with DOL and it takes about 6-10 months on average. The I-140 is filed with USCIS and it can take any length of time which varies case to case, average again 6-10 months.

So whether you would be eligible to stay beyond max out depends on when CTS will start processing EB2/3, and the timeline it takes to get the request approved and GIT to file.

D+ approval can't do anything, it is only required for premium processing, it doesn't apply to CTS breaking their policy to file GC for you when they are not filing, nor does DOL allows premium processing for PERMS.

Only thing is when you file your I-140 you can do in premium with D+ approval.

No you don't need to update any address. The address update is for where the USCIS will send their communication like approvals, denials, RFEs. In all these cases it is the CTS address.

However do remember to update your address by filing up the AR-11 within 15 days of your relocation. Since they changed the new rule for LCA now, that you have to file a new LCA if your work location changes by more than 50 miles, this form does not get much attention, but I would say please continue to update that way USCIS will always have your latest home address which could turn out to be helpful in case of emergencies.

when I checked today it is showing as Jan 31st 2017. Not bad you should be receiving the email from GIT soon. Fingers crossed, mine is 3rd Feb should get the approval now.

What do you mean by back to Jan 2017? For Texas Service Center they were on Jan 2017. My USCIS notice date is 3rd Feb, still no update either at USCIS or GIT.

USCIS Received Date 2/3/17 Still no news, maxout is Oct 2018, GIT just posted LCA for extension, had raised request in Mar for extension. Don't know what logic USCIS follows, neither GIT. God know if I will get the I-140 approved before the extension so that there is chance of getting 3 year extension.

Topic: I-140 Regular processing time - Texas service center

The average as per the tracker here is about 169 days for EB2, but I am seeing many cases that are approved in 60 days, some in 140 days some are pending 180 days plus. Don't know what is going on, I am just waiting to file my extension based on the I-140 vs just labor, else I have to start for another extension as soon as I get one year extension.

How come when you can't even write one sentence properly in English be on H1B? Be glad that you stayed here for 6 years and go home. You also posted the same message 3 times. It is partly because of morons like you, we all the rest of qualified Indians are in trouble now.
