May be the PERM of the H1b guy uploading the data was not approved in time and he had to return back thats why iCert site is not updated.

You can make a quick filtering/sorting at Exel from the disclosure file. Let us know too.

Let me post for you:

Oct 0% done
Nov 0% done
Dec 0.01 % done.

Hi,
I wanted to know how many applications were submitted in those months and not the approved %. Wanted to see if the numbers are decreasing in those months that means (hopefully) faster processing times.

Staying outside for 1 year and coming back on same H1B petition doesn't reset the clock

Topic: H1B to L1A transfer

Hi,
You are right i have been working for the same company X since 2010. The time i have spent outside US 05/05/2015
to 08/06/2016 (459 days) is also under the payroll of company X.
Recently i have been promoted to a managerial role, so was thinking of converting the H1 to L1A to avoid long stay outside US.

Topic: H1B to L1A transfer

Hi,
My 6 years on H1b is exhausting on 4th March and looking at the PERM processing i think my PERM+I140 (PP)+ H1b(PP) will happen in June as my PERM's PD is 11th Dec 2017, so i am exiting US on 1st March.
However, talking with my manager we came up with a plan and we are going to propose it to our Visa team just to see whether it makes any sense legally or not.

We are thinking that i should exit US on 1st March as planned and then my company will file a L1A Visa for me so that i can re enter as soon as possible instead of waiting for PERM+I140 (PP)+ H1b(PP) , as the client wants me here for the project.

If you see my period of stay chart (check the highlighted dates)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CEMPMjc6J0SI5Qa...
I have spent 1+ year in India in last 3 years.

So using the above logic can the company file a L1A for me and get me back here ASAP?

Topic: August 2017 PERM cases

Thanks for the info :) So it will take 1-2 weeks for the attorney to receive the hard copy and may be 2-3 weeks more to get to me and then i send it back (since i would be in India during this time)

Hi,
So the attorney needs to receive the hard copy or you need to receive the hard copy and then sign it somewhere to start i140 ?

How about H1 ending on 4th March and I94 on (4th March+10 = 14th March) and the employee leaves US on 1st March ?

Do not exhaust the 6years of your H1B. Keep few days and leave US before that. Not sure what happens if you exhaust it but generally people don't exhaust it. Just leave early and avoid issues

if you get the PERM (hard copy) by 1st May go for premium I140 and then by 16th May when I140 is approved go for H1B extension.
If this doesn't happen...exit US by 20th May and wait in India for PERM approval and i140 (premium) approval and the h1b extension (premium) and stamping, then only you can return

If you change your job in home country before PERM/i140/H1 , wouldn't you lose all the time you spent on this process ?
