There is an option... COS to b1/b2 stay without pay and switch back to h1 once it is approved. Of course your employer has to agree to this arrangement which they won't if there is going to be a bit of a gap. The other option is to exit and re-enter.

Topic: Today's Stats from DOL

I see no updates on any of the regular sites(trackitt, permchecker, dolstats and permtrackr) after Nov. 15, which is almost a week back. All of these pull data from the icert registry to which they have a link calling it their data source. When I click on it, it takes me to the DOL site and errors out saying invalid CAPTCHA. Did the DOL site add a CAPTCHA to their site that is preventing tracker sites from getting the latest info? How can I now see the list of approved cases?

Topic: August 2017 PERM cases

My case number A-17212-xxxxx generated in July(Jul 31st to be precise) was filed only on Aug 17, I am not sure if this is to be considered an August or a July case. Please redirect me if I am on the wrong discussion/topic. However my question is related to processing and tracking of cases. I see no updates on any of the regular sites(trackitt, permchecker, dolstats and permtrackr) after Nov. 15, which is almost a week back. Did the DOL site add a CAPTCHA to their site that is preventing tracker sites from getting the latest info? Or has the DOL really not processed any case after Tuesday of last week?

Topic: Prevailing Wage Processing Time

Any luck? 2 other September cases have got approvals. I think it is only you and me now? Do you know if the attorneys can request a reason for the delay?

Topic: Prevailing Wage Processing Time

Sorry upfront for the long post. Could someone please explain the difference between OES vs Non-OES for PERM prevailing wage determination and why an attorney would choose one over the other? Or point me to any valid resources that has this information? My prevailing wage request has been been pending since September 26th 2016 and it looks like requests from November are already getting their responses. I am a Software Engineer on a full time role with a big corporation, based in DFW TX. But surprisingly my attorneys are not forthcoming at all(totally uncharacteristic of big law firms) and are not willing to share the case ID or anything else pertaining to this. The only way I am consoling myself is by assuming they might have put in my request as Non-OES, since it has a much longer processing time. I am confident they are not cheating, but my H1B max out date is Nov 2017 and I have very limited time.

How long have you been waiting or rather what is your file date? The frustrating part is that the attorneys won't give the case id because you need to have an account to be able to check the status on the DOL Web site.

Topic: Prevailing Wage Processing Time

My PWD request was filed on Sep 26th, 2016 and I have not got a response yet.

State: TX
Field: IT

The current processing times show Oct 2016 as current. Is it something to worry about?
