Please do not confuse people, there is no order yet that they are going to cancel or revoke H4 EAD. It is just a proposal and decision is not yet made. If possible please post/reply with some stuff which is be useful in these threads, never discourage people. |

Any clue how to track the service request status? It is already 75 days I have filed for H4 EAD and raised an SR today, not sure how to track it. Firstly will there be any advantage of raising an SR? I see approvals for Jan applications from CA service center.

Please find the answers
1. No. You should have valid 140 let it be Emp A or Emp B does not matter
2. You can only apply renewal or extn 180 days before the expiry date printed on the EAD card.
3. Get her H4 also applied through employer B based on your H1. Once H4 is approved then you can apply for H4 EAD extn. Mean while ask your employer B to work on transferring the I-140 from Employer A. |

Yes you need to be on H4 status before you apply for H4 EAD? What about the GC process... If that is done then keep you h1 extending rather than going for H4 EAD. |

Hi,
1. No. You are only supposed to any one status.
2. Sub can submit H4 Extn also along with your H1 Extn, so that you can hear the decision in 15 days.
After H4 gets approved then apply for H4 EAD which takes about 90 days minimum to get the decision. |

First you can apply for your H1 Extn along with her H4 (I-539) form in premium. The decision should be out in 15 days. After you get her H4 approved, you can then apply for H4 EAD on your own which will take 3 months to get the decision. Once she gets her H4 EAD card, she can continue working with same employer. But catch here is if H4 EAD card is not arrived before her H1B max out date, she needs to wait till she receives the card. |

Upgrade your case to premium to hear the result soon. You can pay for it if you employer is not ready to. I would suggest to hear a decision and then go out of the country for vacation, so that you can have peace of mind. |

call them and try to talk, else cancel the money order or cashier check which you sent along with the second application, so it will be invalid by default. But make sure you call USCIS and explain them. |

No, you need to get approval before Mar 01 to continue your work or you need to wait till you get approval.
You cant work with receipt. |
