Trump should return me my quarter million dollars that paid to this country in taxes these past 11 years and then I am willing to return home.

for the income taxes you paid, you enjoyed the benefits.
The roads like infra, The safety services like police, Free education for the kids etc etc etc.

So, you can not expect anything out of it.

As far as Social Security taxes - I am not sure if there is any case in it - because Social Security is something ppl pay expecting returns when retired. But, may be they will say that is part of Living here too... Dont know.

Good Luck. Let me know if they returned your quarter million. So, I can try too :)

Honestly, I don't think you understand how law making works. Collecting co sponser means squat. How many co sponsors you think DT had to collect before the tax bill came up for voting? Let me answer - zilch. Zero. If the leadership wants to pass a bill, they will work behind the doors, and get it done. If a bill has no political will ( like 392), it will just bite dust and die at the end of Congress.

well said.

But, people like IV are mis guiding people and filling people with false hopes to collect donations.

sad. but true.

and people want to live in their bubble with denial.

some day, they will realize the harsh truth. and that day is not far. very very close.

Its a tricky question.

You can not work. Any work you do - govt tracks by 1099/w2 you receive.

If you get paid outside the country, you will not have W2/1099. so that is not trackable.

But, As per law, you are supposed to declare all your income and pay US taxes as long as you live in USA.

So, you can decide what u want to do. :)

:) Look at your argument Yourself. Does it make sense to even you???
You are saying choice of Individual. Getting born in a country is not a CHOICE buddy. It is what you do after it is your choice. Logical comparison should be as below
2 person same company which have 140 approved with same priority date. Performing the same task then why 1 should wait for life and 1 can get right away

simple.

As a country, America does NOT want excessive ppl from the same country. They want to get a mix to protect their culture.

If these checks and balances are not in place, entre third world population would end up in USA and America does NOT want to be another third world country. Period. Those are the rules they defined and they have EVERY right to define whatever they feel right. We may not like it. But, too bad so sad.

Yes. people in EB2 are all same they all have approved 140. THIS IS EMPLOYMENT BASED GC. They should not be discriminated based on the country of birth since a country can be as big and populated as India (west bengal is only 1 of 29 states in India) and small like Bangladesh (east bengal equal to 1 Indian state)
Infact it can be even smaller like Vatican City with just few hundred people

And... there is something called diversity.

America is also based on a fundamental foundation called diversity along with immigration.

They need to balance that too...

Lawmakers have to protect all their principles. Whoever made the law foreseen this influx and added checks and balances to make sure their founding principles (diversity) is protected.

you can just "say" whatever you want to say. thats freedom of speech. you can express ur views.

But, these wishful thinkings would not help solve the problem.

We need to come out of the bubble. If we r still in denial that these arguments buy us anything, we will be fooling ourselves.

Good Luck.

Changed again:

assume two ppl are working at a company. same job.
person A has 2 kids.
person B has 13 kids.

do you think company has to pay DFFERENT salary to A/B based on how many kids they have?

having multiple kids is choice made by an individual

paying DIFFERENT is discrimination.
paying same is equality. (which means treating them equally and not based on the family size)

And... most importantly...

In this world, people have RIGHTs in a country where they have their passport.

UNTIL, you get that passport, anything and everything outside that country is a privilege (if any).

so, just go by their laws. They can define their laws however they see fit for them.
NO QUESTIONS accepted. If you dont like those rules, you r welcome to execute your rights in a country where u have ur passport.

Note: I am not referring to YOU as a person here. :)

do you think company has to pay extra salary to B because of more kuds?

having multiple kids is choice made by B

he will have to adjust.

paying extra is descrimination.
paying same is equality.

when did u come to USA?

fyi -

H1B was started in 1991.
Until 2015, for about 25 years, H4 visa holders were not allowed to work.

it was just since 2015, (just for the last 3 years) - we have this privilege.
