They are just misleading by saying its I-140 EAD while its not. Its just a false representation of information. Just another reason not to trust these attorney's

It clearly states that only if a I-485 is filed that these are valid. After a I-485 is filed(i.e after waiting for a zillion years to get your PD to be current) you would be able to use this form to move to a different employer if the 485 is still pending and would not need a PERM or I-140 again.

Is there a detailed bill text posted anywhere? I searched for the bill in govtrack.us and congress.gov, but couldn't find the details of the bill that has been introduced.

Exactly.. Nothing useful. They tend to use the same language "I don't know anything"

They are going to do whatever they want to do.

In a way, this is true and valid. We have been putting our best efforts and its good. Its good to do so going forward, if it works out good for all of us. If not, then no need to get depressed either. Good Post.

Topic: Reclaiming Social Security and Medicare Taxes from US

If we have been paying the SS Taxes and Medicare for 10 years and in the process become US GC holders will all the taxes paid so far will be accountable? I mean when we get a GC or citizenship, does the 10 year period to pay taxes reset or would the period of H1 be accounted for?

Topic: Obama EO: EAD for approved I 140

Don't see a lot of use in this "Same o Similar Occupation.." memo. Since it affects only people with pending 485. They would have already waited for years to apply 485 and would rather wait to get it cleared with rather changing jobs. This is waste of USCIS resources are stakeholders time. Don't see any benefit of this rule.

Nothing substantial.. Just the regular stuff. They just said AC21 is high priority, but no ETA whatsoever

I appreciate Aman for raising the voice and asking the right points. I really condemn the fact that someone ask the question instead of telling, since he introduced himself with the background they couldn't cut him off. I have been hearing these conferences since 2 years and there were instances where they cut off the person speaking and move to the next question.

I think we need to advocate this speech and mobilize more for the upcoming rally.

I don't think asking for the attorney fees back from the attorney's is fair. They have done their fair in working on your petition and have charged you for their service. Everything should be compensated by USCIS as they are the ones at fault.

Do we have any clue when they are going to address the EAD for I-140 clause in the EO apart from the Acceptance dates? Or is that it?
