I replied to a RFE about a month ago.
The online status changed to “name was updated” after a week.
No movement since then...

For I-140, Only the employer or their attorney can raise an SR.
They will reject the SR if you try to raise it yourself.

They had three questions (and the documents they asked for were):

1. Ability to Pay (Tax Returns, W-2s, etc)
2. Bonafide Nature of Job (Job ads and resumes received during PERM and why they were rejected, company support letter, appointment letter, etc)
3. Company's Background information (Company website, current project reports, client(s) info., etc.)

The third one took most of the time as the company had to seek permission from the clients to provide them their data. :-I

That's what I am thinking now.
Someone, somewhere screwed up!
I spoke to the lawyer today and asked him if he submitted the advertisements, etc. with the petition. He said 'no' as it is just a part of the PERM process. Well looking at this RFE, I know now that the damn lawyer screwed up there!

Topic: I-140 Regular processing time - Texas service center

Today my employer recieved the RFE in the mail.

It asked for the following:

1. Proof that the job was advertised to US workers - this should not be a problem.

2. Continuing ability to Pay - W2, stubs, Tax Returns, etc. - NO PROBLEM

3. Petitioner's Background information (This may include but not limited to..)
now on this one they have asked for:

a. Corporate Website;
b. Corporate Annual Reports;
c. Information on corporate clients & projects with historical growth;
d. Any other information which can be useful.

I dont know if my company will be willing to provide the information on their clients! I just spoke to my lawyer and even he was like this is absurd! :I

Does anyone has experience with the #3? What all docs can I provide?
Please advice.

Sure! I will keep everyone posted...

And You may be right..
I looked at my entire package today and didn't find anything missing. The only thing I could imagine is that my RD was 23rd Dec, so the company provided Tax Returns until 2015. However, now they have for 2016 as well.
So that's the only doc I can think of along with my new pay stubs of course.

Is it possible that they might need 'another' previous experience letter although I provided them one before?

Thanks Cali for making the point!

Chathak bhaijaan nobody is snatching your GC and giving it to anybody else :-D
You are comparing apples and oranges.
Cali is right! Please differentiate humanitarian efforts from our issues!
And yes! I have seen graham's Dream Act bill.

Topic: DACA end delayed

Dear Chathak,

Let me provide some relief to your ears bro! :)
First of all, comparing DACA to the Rest of us is incorrect.

I know atleast 3 people in there 30s who were brought here when they were about 16.
One a PHD, and rest of the two engineers - ALL on DACA!
By no means, I could ever tell that they were not US citizens.

They have been waiting for this, way before you and me even thought of coming to the US.

Someone just argued that LPR should not be given to people who came here 8 years ago - agreed.
But statistically, most DACA recipients are around 30 - WE CAN SEE THAT ON THE TV RIGHT NOW - I SEE NO INFANTS THERE!

16% of them are home owners.
23% of them are entrepreneurs.
100% of them are crime free.

Also, we (as adults) made an informed decision knowing that there is a huge line before us in this process.
DACA kids did not!

With revoking these rights - they lose Driving Licenses, Work Permits, etc.

Lets focus on our wait now because TSC is not doing SHIT right now! :)
Peace!

Buddy even though they are grown up adults now, they were brought here when they were kids. Some very young!
So they don't know any other country other than the US. Most don't even know the language!
I am sure that you are an adult. How about I drop you to Ethiopia tomorrow, will you be able to survive?!
