As my case is little complecated, I am going to take my attorny with me.

My I140 also was re-opened as part of my case transfer to NBC. I guess my old employer who sponsered for my I140 is going on with some investigation.. but not sure..

are you with the same company who sponsored for your I140?

you can send me the email to sree52@yahoo.com

Hi Sree-

I had an interview sometime ago.. the interviewer was a east asian woman.. very arrogant and snooty.. definitely good idea to take your attorney.. as they may have some stupid objection which attorney can clear up right away..

In all ... definitely take all possible documents.. including your marriage documents (including pictures).. EADs.. H-1/H4 approval letters.. your degrees etc.. I took a whole big bag full of documents and I am glad I did..

me and my wife had different address on our License.. and she asked proofs of our marriage... etc..

good luck..

I had interview yesterday at local office philadelphia, I took lawyer along with me even though it is not needed.

The person who interviewed me was a nice person, he was friendly and cool. I had lot of tension before going to the interview but the officer made me feel very comfortable.

After the Oath, IO asked us to show the passport and DOB and then asked Yes/No Questions which were there in the 485 appln.

Later IO verified my past experience letters, w2 and pay stubs.

Asked the questions like, how is my employer, (Paying well or not), whom I used to report etc

The reason whey they called me for interview is My previous employer who filed my GC was investigated for "Visa Fraud", IO wanted to check if everything in my case is fine.

Finally IO said that he has to submit my case to Supervisor to take a decission.

Overall, it was cool and positive according to the attorney.

Sree52,
it went smooth. he didn't find my original i-140 appln in my case. He said that it is located in other service center.
then my Attorney asked him to open SR to reques i140. Also he mentioned that my name check is cleared.
Overall it went smooth and he dint ask any strange questions.

Hi gcSeeker123,
I remember that you had gone through the Green card interview in 2010 , same time I had gone through the interview process.

Can you please tell me what happened after the interview? Did you get Green card or are you still waiting on EB3 dates?

if possible can you send mail to sree52 yahoo com

Thanks
Sree
