Lets put your input in this thread. When do you think Dec 2017 approval will start?

Hi,
My case A-17321-XXXX has a PD of 12/11/2017.
All the best!!!

One question here,
My H1B is valid till 4th March 2018 and there is no time for recapture. Hence the I94 which I have in the approval notice is valid till 14th March 2018 i.e. 4th March +10 days.
I am planning to exit US as I don’t want to exhaust my H1B, so that I can wait in India for getting my PERM+I140 approved and then file a 3 years extension for my H1B and re-enter.

Now the question is when should I exit US depending on the dates I mentioned above ? I am planning to exit on 1st March 2018, do you think it would be too late as I don’t want to impact my 3 years extension.

It doesnt really matter for your 3 year extension if you leave on 1st March. But safe bet will be last week of Feb.. just to avoid same month expiry and left. (Just my thought)

Hi All,

I am on opt extension which is going to expire in Jun 2018. My PERM is in process right now. Now my employer said that they will fill my H1b in 2018. My question is if my perm got approved before h1b filling, can my employer file both i-140 and H1B (opt to H1b) at the same time? Will it be normal or we should not do that.

All responses will be appreciated. Thanks

PERM filed today 12/27.

Any idea on expected certification date? I am thinking Apr - May 2018?

to dacofee:

I'm Dec '17 too. At current rate I think your estimate is right. I don"t know enough about this to assess whether there could be a significant speed up (or slow down!) though.

Good luck!

to skywave:

Hello

When you mean expired certification, is that part of the resume submitted?

to yoras:

No I don't remember if my attorney asked my resume for filing PERM,
That certification was in "Requirement job" section, mine was like one year valid and need to extend every year, 1 week before my attorney "submit" my PERM application, that certification was expired, so they said I'm not qualified for that job position. I wish she could asked me It needs to be renewal on that time and I could do that in a week.

Need everyone’s suggestions to see if alternate job description matches with perm specification for eb3 other worker category.
Primary requirement bachelor with 6 month experience.
Alternate education and experience: Associate with 1 year. Is the alternate one fitting with Associate and 1 year for a Bachelor with 6 months or should it be Associate with 2 years? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Someone on the tracker thread claiming that a December (A-17363 XXXXX) application was approved! :-O

Not sure where they got this from though.
