I'm in same boat. Filed on 8th Jan at CSC. Got H4 receipt at home. No news about H1 extension receipt..Do they process H1 and H4 at the same time? My spouse's H4 status shows as "Received" on 8th.

No idea , its getting pretty frustrating now . I haven't even received h4 receipt as probably my case is 2 days later than yours .

What does the attorney say ?

Same here, its been almost 2 weeks since my LCA was approved and H-1B was filed a day or two after.
Still waiting for the receipt.

I think USCIS processing may slow down a bit after the Govt shutdown, only gonna make things worse from here.

Check this link for updates of workload transfers between SC's:

https://www.uscis.gov/workload-transfers

Also if need more info call, 1-866-315-5718. I am also in the same boat, filed H1 (transfer), H4 and H4EAD in premium, waiting for notification on all of them, none of the checks got deducted.

If you have any updates of your own, please share. My applications reached USCIS on 01/09/2018, still no work on receipt or approval.

USCIS received my petition on 8th, but the PP started only from 16th. There was delay in H1, H4 receipts. Received it later than expected. Hopefully everyone gets their receipt soon.
Attorney/Petitioner can call USCIS and ask for the case number if e-receipt is not yet received. I heard from attorney that there is a technical issue with sending e-receipt.

to OctVB2011:

The newsflash is dated march 2017, not sure if that is still valid.
Following this forum, it seems like the current delay trend started for folks applying late Dec 2017 and Jan 2018

Why its not a good idea? Did you questioned your friends?

Just go with PP and get relaxed in 15 calendar days. Good to go...

Did your attorney get any kind of email communication at all from USCIS?

My PP petition was approved on 10th Jan based on email form USCIS but have not received physical copy of receipt or I-797A.

to truereligion:

They are probably preparing the package which includes i129, lca and original copy of i797 that will be sent to you. You will need this packet at the time of visa interview and international travel.
