Mine is also Jan case & pretty much similar dates like you in EAD/AP etc.

Let me know if InfoPass really helps & what it is all about? Is it some sort of an interview, explanation, etc?

Infopass is basically an appointment to meet USCIS representative f2f in their field office. You can ask all your question to them in person and they may provide answers to all or few of your questions. Most of the time, their response is exactly same the one you get in SR but some officer might give you more details on the cases. And when you are talking to a person, there is a chance that you get more details than from a mail.

Sorry for asking this question.

In our petition we have written everything & if there is any question then Officer will either send RFE OR Approve right?

I believe the only question we have is why it's taking that much of time?

So how Infopass helps in that perspective & what is the expected output from it?

to VSFORGC:

You can schedule an interview using this link https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment at a field office near you. They may not provide answers for queries regarding I-140, but you can definitely inquire status updates about your I-485 application(s). Just a tip - They update the appointment availability only once a day at midnight and most likely you will get an appointment for a date on are after 2 weeks, so if you are intending to schedule an appointment, check it right after midnight.

You are right, it may not help at all and as someone mentioned, all they may do is read out the update from SR but as few folks here in trackitt have mentioned, some officers do provide you an exact update on where the case is and what would be the next steps but there's no guarantee the visit may help.

hey I responded my RFE on Sep 01,2017. And filed my I 140 on Jan 03.2017.
Still waiting to hear from USCIS.
Do you suggest to convert it to Premium?

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same delays I have been on my I140 at the Texas Service Center, my dates;

I140 Accepted May 19 2016
RFE Responded to Nov 25 2016
Congressional Inquiry June 22 2017 - USCIS responded that not all cases can be adjudicated within normal processing times and they are still reviewing information

No change in status since acknowledgment that the RFE was received Nov 2016. Anyone else waiting this long? Suggestions?

Will the immigration officers at Infopass appointments disclose any details regarding our pending I140? Because earlier when I raised the SR by myself they said since I am not the applicant (EB1B) and only the beneficiary thry cannot disclose any details to me.

to lyfisshort:

Most likely not, but in cases of concurrent I-485 like I see you have too, they can definitely share information on that, which in my case have passed the processing times as well. I had a similar experience during my InfoPass visit for the non-immigrant visa extensions in the past, they did not provide information on my I-129 petition as that was filed by employer, but they shared information on related applications for dependents (I-539), hope this helps.

from may of 2016, I believe that is very long time. Most of us here are from after nov/dec of 2016.
I am not saying there are none, but I believe there are very few from that time line. If possible, try to contact ombudsman , that might get you to some end.

May I request the community on this forum for their opinion on the following: I sent my EB1A PP I-140 application to TSC last week and it was delivered on Oct 18, 2017. However, I still have not received the USCIS receipt. Also, the checks have not been deposited by the USCIS. Does it usually take this long? I'm resident of Maryland (so I fall in TSC jurisdiction) and my EB2-NIW was approved by the NSC last month. Could it be possible that the USCIS is transferring my case to NSC since my NIW was handled by NSC? Could the delay in check deposition be due to transfer of my EB1A application to NSC even though I sent it to TSC?

My case was shown as validation error all this while, but yesterday it changed to case was received and my approval was on Monday. I just checked now too, its still says case was received.

Looks like they are not updating approval status for I140.

By the way what is 'error in validation status'. Have you raised any SR?

Heard it’s a system glitch. My HR had said they would raise an SR if there would have been no changes till end of the month, thankfully it didn’t go till there
