Thanks for your reply!

I believe I cant do it only employer can, received very generic response from immigration department.

I really don't know want can be done in my limits.

Employer's response :

Please note that your case is still pending with USCIS and we haven't receive any notice with regards to I-140 petition .You could ignore the status in the USCIS site , ,since we haven't receive any USCIS decision/notice prior .
if any update is available on your case , you will be notified by USCIS.
until then appreciate your patience !

I totally forgot that you can not raise any SR on i-140. My bad.
Have you registered in USCIS official website ? It does show you the history of your application. You can add your i-140 as well in there. Though my lawyer raised my SR , I was able to see the history of when was SR raised and when the response was sent. I can still see the list in my case . Try it there, it is better than nothing.

My I-485 is pending for 180 days, but my I-140 is not approved yet. Looking at a Promotion with my current company. Is it advisable to change position? My lawyer said the move would be linear.

I have raised my second SR and got the below reply:

The status of this service request is:
We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

Typical response from USCIS. But what I have learned from other threads is that it is very likely to see some actions within week or two

Sure let me look. I don’t exactly remember but I read it somewhere that they heard something after raising SR. Let me try and look for it

to Yprocks:

Ohh ok, I have read that too, but unfortunately the ratio of people who were lucky and got their cases pushed due to SR versus those who just received cookie-cutter response in my observation here is 1:10

The Reply to my Attorney's SR states: "We received your service request. Our systems indicate that you are not the applicant, petitioner, or attorney for the receipt number provided. Therefor, we cannot release any information to you regarding your case."
My attorney received the same copy. The receipt number matches my name and all our details are correct. I did not raise the SR myself either. So anyone with any ideas to what has happened.

I got a similar response when My employer filed it by selecting the option - 'Applicant/Petitioner'. So waited 30 days and raised another SR, only this time the option selected was 'Legal Representative'. Got back response this time. But it was a standard one stating additional review has delayed the processing time.

Hope this helps.

did the last update date on your petition changed? I am wondering if that is a cookie cutter response or if the petition is actually picked-up by an officer and is under processing.

Thank for your response. My attorney said they will respond next week. We shall see. My I-140 is pending for 219 and I-485 188 days. I am looking at a promotion with my current company. On my I-765 approval notice it states that if you have a pending or approved I-140 and a pending I-485, you may change employers if your I-485 has been pending for 180 days or more.
