Anyone know what is going on in Nebraska? I checked the Managerial Executive category for I-140 and it hasn't moved for 3 months. It still says processing is stuck back at Sep 16/2015. Other categories seem to be moving along.

I am in the same situation, my PD is 09/25 and I did not get the I-140 approved yet.

Can some one clarify me what Priority date and Received dates are?

my case was filed on Sep 2 2015
it was transferred 2 times and the latest office that is processing my case i.e Nebraska received it on Oct 9 2015.

So does this make my RD Oct 9 or is it Sep when the case was first filed?

Thanks!

It should go by your priority date when originally submitted. However I spoke with my lawyer and she said that they are extremely delayed. My lawyer said she is seeing 8 - 9 months being the average. I didn't file until Feb 2016 but last year when I filed it only took 5 months. Then I had a RFE and then I was denied. Fired lawyer and now have new lawyer. Funny enough one of my employees who I oversee got approved when I got denied the first time. It is just such a gamble.

Thank you!
My lawyers said the same thing to me regarding 8-9 months processing time. Hopefully we all will get it soon :)

We should really start a petition asking to speed up the processing in NSC.

In the same boat as you all (PD 10/05/2015) with same feedback from my lawyer (8-9 months) and same level of opacity from NSC
If a petition can help, yeah, I'm down for that

I would be happy to join in. Shall we send a written petition to Congressman for moving Nebraska ahead ?
I got a I140 approved on Nov 2015, however the name of my company changed, hence had to refile an I140. The new I140 has been filed in January 2016.
This lengthy processing times, increase my overall time. Any help, I would be happy to chime in.

None unfortunately
Processing times should be updated by the end of this week or next week

They are supposedly not entirely accurate but since EB1C (E13) didnt get any changes these last 3 updates, hope to see movement in the upcoming updates

Our dates are really close. I think there is nothing personal. From all i have seen, NSC seems to be stuck the past 3 months, processing other cases and workload transferred from other service centers.

Looks like NSC is in a slumber. While TSC is handing out approvals even for March 2016 filers.

Based on open case data from mycase tracker, it will only get worse as the inventory of "Case Received" for NSC is almost twice of TSC for November 2015 onwards. We might be in for a long haul unless NSC moves along faster or they transfer some cases to TSC.

Still waiting. Filed EB1C on H1B. Working in the same company for last 11 years. 4 years in India and 7+ now in US.

Raised SR with Type of service requested: Outside Normal Processing Times on April 22 and got following response on April 25, 2016

"Your case is currently under review by an officer. You should receive a decision, correspondence or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

It's being very tough to remain strong

Is this delay related to the visa basis. I mean whether you are in H1B or L1A?

to leoliton:

I can and am pretty sure thousands of us can relate to the difficulties tied with the wait

I dont know if there's a different treatment based on the visa type

I personally dont think so but hard to say, this whole process has been such a black box, the lack of accurate and consistent updates has been a killer

Let's keep the updates coming on this forum so all of us can have a sense of visibility

Thx

Looks like TSC is moving , is there a possibility to transfer from NSC to TSC ?

Checked with the company's lawyers who filed my applications y'day. Response is generally speaking they are seeing Sep approvals for I-140's right now in Nebraska. Timelines are looking like 8 months+ nowadays for I-140's. Nebraska has been slower recently (for 2-3 months) is what they have experienced, no one knows real reasons but likely due to case load transfers from Texas, Vermont and also H1B's.

Hope this helps. Though given other feedback from folks, nothing new. Hold tight.

I had been also watching the progress in Nebraska, the dates are just not moving.

My priority date is in Feb, 2016...so much behind than many of you.

Don't worry am in the same boat as you (though a bit earlier - Dec 2015). But we got to get our brothers and sisters before us done and wish they get it fast enough, so we get our turns :). In the absence of transparency, we have only us to support each other.

Do not know how they do their workload transfers. Only Yesterday or so there was an alert that NSC would now process certain types of H1 cases too. Why would they burden an already lagging center. All we can do is wait.. but it does throw their policy of "applications are processed in the order they are received" in the water, as March TSC folks are already seeing approvals and we are stuck in September. In essence the first come first serve should be regardless of the center. We are sending applications to USCIS not to NSC or TSC.
