My case has been current in September and continue to be current in October. The latest update (today) from Infopass and SD response is that the case is currently with adjudicating officer. Any information from the 2008 PDs for EB2 please share for awareness. Thanks in advance.

Is it a good idea to send the redone medical in advance? Any experiences?

I was in the same boat last month - you can't send Medicals without official RFE copy. You can schedule it and get it done beforehand though. What I did was to set up everything (appointment, tests etc) - but waited for the actual RFE to do the medicals. It took 3 days to turn it around.

Thanks. How long did it take to get an RFE for medicals since the date became current?

I see your date is after mine (july 28th 2008). It's been current from Sept and no news.. But mine is in TSC.. l..y fellas

I disagree... I submitted my Supp-J form + medicals proactively and received receipt notice for Supp-J from NSC. Medicals do get updated on file if you send them before hand. When your date is current, the adjudicating officer simply checks if everything is on file or is RFE needed to update certain stuff.

For me - everything is done by the Employer's Attorney - including the fees. All I've to do is sign on documents. So I go by what they recommend. Took 3 days anyway.

I did send the updated medical on October 24th (waiting for receipt though). Today my case got updated and says the below. Any inputs on what this normally mean. Thanks guys!

On November 3, 2017, we began reviewing your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number XXXXXXXXXX. We mailed you a notice informing you of the action we intend to take on your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice and submit any requested materials.

that means either they sent you another RFE or the status was updated since they sent you last RFE, which we could believe you responded

Have you got the receipt of your last sent RFE on medicals?

I just enquired thru my local congresswomen. My case is again transferred to Washington district office.

category : EB2
I485 filed at TSC on 4/12/2017
EAD approved on 6/16/2017
I485 first transferred to Dallas field office on 7/28/2017
I485 second transfer to Washington district office on 8/18/2017

What does this mean to my case? Anybody in the forum got transferred to Washington District office?

question and guidance - what led you to follow up with your local congressman - what was your procedure and approach? telephone call or submission of case work enquiry per their usual web portal?

Could you please help walk it through?

USCIS doesnt send a receipt notice for RFE response. Most likely its another RFE. Did you include gonorrhea tests in your medicals. They would send another RFE if you havent.

This is getting really depressing, I mean we wait for priority dates to be current for ages, and then when we do get current, no RFE or any updates. I saw that someone with current priority date (EB-2 I 2007) got an RFE in October 2017 and just got Greened. My point is that I hope we don’t have a 1 year wait after priority dates becoming current. Since there has been very little activity on this thread, my guess is that no one in EB2-I from Nebraska center, has got an RFE even though they have been current for the past 3 months.

Anxiety creates stress...guys. You can't do much.

we all need to stop worrying and start enjoying our lives....it will happen one day- but till then you could have missed all the fun you could have with your dear ones and family....so stop worrying and start living. do you karma..i.e., responding to RFE ASAP and submitting your forms correctly and on time...

leave the rest for the best. I hope my two cents help sooth your anxious nerves - be happy :) and best of luck.

Agree your point.. Even EAD/AP taking longer then expected... I recently had to take INFOPASS and ask for updates....Then got approved within week. All we need to do our best to respond and THAT'S IT.

Hope everyone awaiting get GREENED in FY18 and ofcourse major immigration changes aligned for get passed...

To JonSnowGOT,

From what some if the others users told me, it seems that USCIS is applying unused visa from EB3 India to EB2-I. USCIS has been approving casses from 2007 and 2008 that don’t need RFE’s. I think you should be getting Greened soon, as your Medicals are current. Good Luck....

Keep us posted...
