Hi,
I applied for replacement of my GC in Sept 2016 due to a typo error on the name. I received the receipt notice in Oct 2016, but have any received the replacement card yet. Anyone in similar situation, any experiences to share about the processing times ?

I applied for a replacement on May 2016 and I am still waiting for my file to be reviewed. Unfortunately, the processing times are around 9 to 10 months.

I-90 applied on April 8 or 9th of 2016, and Green card copy was received on Feb 12, 2017 (so 10 months)

out of curiosity, if someone has to travel during replacement period how can they do so? I assume you have to submit green card along with replacement application ?

Hi Jeeva1,
You will need to get an I-551 stamp on your passport. You need to get an infopass appointment at the USCIS office in your area in order to get it. It doesn't take more than thirty minutes.

Good morning,
You can make as many inquiries as you want. However, if you are going to base your inquiry in out of proessing time, it won't apply. According to USCIS webpage, they are still processing April 27th, 2016 cases. It is taking around 10 months now. You will have to wait.

Guys,
I took the Infopass on Feb 2 as it was almost 10 months and they said it still can be considered as normal processing but they emailed the service center where my case was - my case got approved in 2 days so not sure if it was just a coincidence or a result of them emailing the service center

As Lagar said, schedule an infopass for the 551 stamp that's good for a year and is a stamped green card only

They have updated the processing times to July 28th!
I submitted mine on May 9th and haven't heard anything yet though....
Let's wait and see what happens this week.....Let's be positive!

oh no.my optimism lasted less than three hours!
I am so confused. It was April 27th as of November 30st. Then they changed it to July 28th as of December 31st and then changed to April 4th. So not only they made no progress, they went back in time! Am I the only one who does not understand anything at this time and after being waiting for 10 months?
It is frustrating.....

I am in the same boat as you, their website make myself really confuse. I applied for my I-90 green card replacement due to USCIS error on my card May 10th, 2016 and they received it May 11th, 2016 though USPS Mail express. I did my biometrics and everything. right now still don't receive my card yet or an response. since January 25th 2017, the i 90 replacement processing time was April 27th 2016, and now it is february 21th 2016 make it approximately one month they just updated it and put it backward as April 4th, 2016... i am really confuse... why they go backward??? it's really frustrating..

USCIS made a mistake on my green card. I asked a congressman to help to speed up the process. They approved the application in 5 weeks. I think you guys can contact your local congressmen for help...Hopefully, they will not make typos again this time.

They have just updated it to June 28th, 2016....I haven't gotten my approval yet even though my submission date is May 9th...The more information I get, the less I understand....

i got mine last week with correct info this time...the congressman's assistant that help me with my case told me that this is the first time she sees uscis do some thing this fast. I got my replacement card in less than 5 weeks after submission of i-90
